Easy Connection software
What do you like best? From N-Central, easy to take over a workstation and to support your users. Lots of tools to work with end users and to remotely support your clients. What do you dislike? If Take Control isn't installed the push feature is slow. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Not all information in the Take Control app is current and may not update.

Solarwinds Take Control
What do you like best? The ability to quickly access a workstation, laptop or server quickly. What do you dislike? Occasionally the software will not work, with no clear reason for the issue. Often this will require a reinstallation of the software to resolve, which is not always possible on a remote machine. Recommendations to others considering the product: Good product to use for quickly integrating a remote control solution inside of N-Central. What problems are you ...

Ease of Use Is Amazing
What do you like best? The ease of use is amazing, I love being able to click a single button and without fuss remote into a clients workstation or server. As well the ability know if connections failed and why is super handy. What do you dislike? The monitoring of the connection can be a bit better and information on where the connection is failing vs just the bar would be helpful. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? The need for ...

Good remote connection tool
What do you like best? Works with N-Central agent. Easy to use. Allows you to remote in and see the desktop, take control, correct issues. Also includes system shell, which allows you to run commands on the system. What do you dislike? Sometimes takes a little longer to get the connection. Any network change requires a few minutes to recover. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We use this to remote in and assist clients having issues. ...

MSP anywhere
What do you like best? My personal favorite feature of take control is the system shell functionality that allows me to insert commands on a device that has CMD/PoSH blocked by a GPO What do you dislike? It doesn't always allow input of clipboard and some maneuvering needs to be done to resolve it. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? The benefit of being able to take over for the user and not have to rely on what it is that they are ...

Take control is great overall
What do you like best? I like how quickly I can connect to the remote system and share the screen with the customer. What do you dislike? Occasionally it can be slow on a single device within a network, while other devices run fine. I've also encountered issues with blanking out the screen, in that when I blank it out, my session is locked and I have to reconnect. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It's very simple for us to connect ...

File transfers can be slow, possibly due to the built-in encryption requirements. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It's a great way to remotely administer PCs from anywhere in the world.

Good product, could use some work
What do you like best? I like that it allows me to easily connect with clients, and especially like that I'm able to connect into Terminal Services sessions with users to better assist - which isn't something that normally comes with other solutions. It's also nice to have all the extras in the additional tabs (like command line, etc) What do you dislike? It often doesn't reconnect properly, it can become uninstalled on a device and is hard to get it reinstalled and often cuts out ...
