Take Control with remote management
What do you like best? I have been using Take Control since switching from Logmein and aside from the deep price savings, I am very pleased with the ease of use and the continued product improvement. Also, having 500 devices included in base price is a real plus. The product has many features and is definitely worth a look. What do you dislike? Not providing a msi for large rollouts. Product is a bit clunky for agentless setup in a one time help desk scenario. Also, having to use a ...

Solid Remote Tool
What do you like best? We have been using solarwinds take control for years. Its strongest suits are staying connected even on slow internet connections and having a good set of tools while connected. My favorite tools are changing client resolution, keystroke forwarding, changing to RDP connection, and file transferring. when paired with the solarwinds dashboard and Agent, Take Control acts like a background tool that pops up when you need it. It installs quickly on new devices and has ...

A great experience for both technicians and end users
What do you like best? Installation is perfect for the end users. Very simple setup and seamless integration! All the controls that you expect like file transfer, terminal window, WOL, multi-display compatibility, etc.. Solarwinds definitely makes the best service that we've utilized on Mac devices. There's nothing that compares to how easy it is for them to install. What do you dislike? We've had some recent issues during Windows updates that may require a user restart their computer ...

Solarwinds Take Control Review
What do you like best? Take Control is a very good remote control (RAT) tool for all basic and advanced remote support and control of endpoints. Has both on demand and unattended sessions via code, link or calling card, as well as and end user feature that allows customers to have the benefit of a lighter Take Control session. Great product. Smooth experience, easy to use.
What do you like best? The connection is nice and quick. It's extremely handy having PowerShell and command line access to windows based systems. What do you dislike? Sometimes when rebooting a system it can take a while to reconnect. There are times a new session needs to be started instead of waiting with the window open. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It has been a great remote access utility for our use, but we've also been ...
