SolarWinds backup works well and works consistently... exactly what you want in a backup tool

What do you like best? SolarWinds backup is easy to setup, use, and monitor. It works. We do not have have to "babysit" it. The interface is very easy to use. With restores being infrequent, it is important that the interface be easy to use. It is. It is also fast. What do you dislike? In SolarWinds backup, jobs are managed and scheduled only by server - not in groups. Each one must be set up, scheduled, etc. one server at a time. This can get cumbersome in a larger environment. ...

Best in Class : Virtual Disaster Recovery with Business Continuity

When there is a failure, their support engineers are readily available, and will stay on the call as long as is needed. Too dang simple

What do you like best? The ease it is to setup the backup, schedule and perform restores makes this product for me a breeze to use. I was using all other types of backup systems for my clients and once I found this one I immediately replaced the backup system for all of my clients. I even get the unicorn of backups for my sites. 100% completed with no errors. What do you dislike? For Hyper-V backups on servers with replication the software will indicate that the backup is complete ...

Solarwinds backup is great tool

What do you like best? Solarwinds backup has worked when i needed it to. What do you dislike? The automatic test feature is not built directly in. I have to add a recovery console which i didn't know was there. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? FIle deletion. File modification that was denied by our vendor. They claimed the file format was unchanged but we were able to restore the file and prove otherwise.
