works well

What do you like best? I like that the you offer unlimited backup. What do you dislike? service can take up a lot of memory and slow server performance Recommendations to others considering the product We need to be able to make sure that syncing with the local speed vault doesn't just start happening. It can crush internet connections. Also, why is the local speed vault syncing downwards instead of upwards? doesn't make sense to us. Also, there needs to be some sort of limitation on how ...

Excellent system

What do you like best? The modularity of the system. We can scale from backing up a few files for pennies, right up to system imaging. The controls and setup are pretty straightforward, and the system seems very robust. Support (both UK and international is also very good. What do you dislike? Having to have two accounts - one for data & one for imaging - is a pain. Also, relying on third-party cloud hosting (e.g. AWS / Azure for the off-site recovery is clunky. Recommendations to others ...

What do you like best? The easy interface is fast and self explanatory. What do you dislike? removing the products from corrupt installs is very time consuming. Should have a script that can check and delete the files. Recommendations to others considering the product Better than in-house backups! What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Clients non longer have to worry about crypto infections. Also peace of mind of data. Easy restoration ...

Now that the management console is cloud based there isn't anything to dislike really. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Managed Backup, a critical piece of the MSP puzzle

What do you like best? Moving our MSP customers to Solarwind's Managed Backup solution has been a key piece of our move to managed services. It is affordable, easy to deploy and produces status reports that let us and our customer know exactly how the service is running. What do you dislike? The only reservation I have is that at customer sites where bandwidth is limited, initial backup images can take several days to upload, so make sure that a local "speedvault" drive is configured. ...

at last - a cloud backup solution that just works

What do you like best? It Just Works - no messing around, no having to restart services every now and again. Backing up Exchange Databases in particular works really well - 100GB databases are backed up easily with just the changes being sent, no 100GB uploads every week or two when things get out of sync. Local Disaster Recovery Image is a great option. What do you dislike? Backup Schedules could be a little more flexible. What business problems are you solving with the product? What ...

Great single pane of glass platform
