Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Social Tables has significantly improved how we visualize and manage event layouts. Its drag-and-drop floor planning and realistic 3D walkthroughs provide an excellent way to collaborate with venues and clients alike. The platform simplifies diagramming and reduces back-and-forth by allowing everyone to work on the same visual, up-to-date plan. However, it lacks ...Read more
Social Tables pros and cons
The platform’s user-friendly visual tools make it easy for planners to design and adjust event layouts, even without technical skills.
Teams can comment, edit, and review layouts together, reducing planning friction and accelerating approvals.
These features help venues bring their spaces to life, offering a clear understanding of how events will look.
Whether managing a small banquet or a large conference hall, Social Tables adapts to different event scales.
Users have to rely on external tools for registration, promotions, and attendee communication.
While basic tools are intuitive, users may need training to leverage 3D walkthroughs and complex layouts effectively.

Terrible Company with Lacking Responsiveness
What do you like best? Useful software. The original version was more intuitive but the newer one is more powerful What do you dislike? They are unresponsive to product feedback. The new version has taken years to completely release and has had many issues along the way. Each time an issue is brought up, it's deflected and not resolved What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? They are helpful to move furniture around in an event space. ...

NEEDS A MOBILE VERSION
What do you like best? It enables to create diagrams using the approximate dimensions, which makes event planing handy without having to go to the site to plan for an event. What do you dislike? It can be glitchy on the desktop version, sometimes changing dimensions of objects does not work. Being able to plan an event on mobile phone seems like a great idea too. Recommendations to others considering the product: Its a must to know your inventory's sizes of each object. What ...

Does the job, but not perfect.
What do you like best? Pre loaded furniture and easy to navigate furniture styles, number of chairs, and allows several floor plans in one event. What do you dislike? Takes a long time to load, templates very hard to use, cannot easily copy and paste from one event to another. Recommendations to others considering the product: Need to have pre-loaded blank floor plans/blue prints, need to make sure to keep everything organized, as it can get clogged quickly if not used properly. ...

Sensible platform even for beginners
What do you like best? Social Tables was user friendly and easy to learn. I'm not in the event management field, though I have some experience, and one of my previous jobs offered the opportunity to help fill in a position in Event Services where one of the employees was on maternity leave. I rarely had to ask my coworkers for help even though I essentially had to start using it competently right away in order to schedule incoming event bookings. What do you dislike? If I remember ...

Heading in the right direction
What do you like best? I appreciate the user-friendly interface, especially after the most recent updates. The drag-and-drop design platform is accessible to anyone on our team with little training. What do you dislike? The limited library of objects to include on floor plans. Given the versatile nature of events, it would be incredibly helpful to have more to choose from instead of creating work-arounds. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

Easy platform for event planning!
What do you like best? Social tables is so easy to use! All of your spaces are loaded in and everything you could possibly want to put in the room is there for you! What do you dislike? There is not much to dislike. I guess if I had to pick something is that the 3D renderings don’t offer color choices. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? My clients love the 3D renderings. Our property is not yet open so it’s great to show what their ...

Gets the job done
What do you like best? I like that social tables has a live chat option for troubleshooting. It's also nice to be able to customize furniture on your own without needing to pay additional money. Their customer service is the most responsive I've seen in a while and they seem to really value input from their clients! It's easy to use and learn! What do you dislike? I feel as though they have a good amount of bugs that they need to really fix. They seem to focus on making their ...

Easy and Effective Buisness Tool for Hoteliers
What do you like best? Social Tables makes it quick and easy to draft up a diagram and send directly to my current and prospective clients! The 3D tool really helps me close the business and ensure the client that the setup will work smoothly in our space! What do you dislike? I don't know if it is so much with social tables or how my property decided to go about it but I have noticed it is not always exactly fit to scale. Especially with all of the different table options. What ...
