Great tool for first timers and students!

What do you like best? I like that you can draw simple floor plans on the site free of charge that can be saved as pdfs. I used the tool during school working towards my Associates in Event Management. What do you dislike? It would be nice if you could get more features for floor plans. Recommendations to others considering the product: If you are starting your business or are studying in the hospitality/event industry give this tool a shot! What problems are you solving with ...

I love social tables!

What do you like best? The sales & catering CRM helps me to easily manage business and inventory. What do you dislike? There isn't much that I dislike about the platform. I only have positive things to say! What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I can ensure that my venue appears in CSN search results when planners request to see only properties with interactive floor plans.

Good product, bad experience

What do you like best? It is very convenient and helps you visualize what your event space will look like What do you dislike? Had a terrible experience with the founder of the company and ruined my experience with the product. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Seeing the space come to life before the actual event

Easy to Use but Time Consuming

What do you like best? I like the drag and drop features. It is easy to add tables, chairs and even miscellaneous items to a floorplan. It is comforting knowing that your diagram is to scale with the space as well. Inserting large amounts of tables or items is easy with the group drop when you can drag out as many tables as you need at one time. Social Tables support system is incredible and takes all feedback into consideration. When we first started using Cvent they offered multiple ...

A must have for event planners!

What do you like best? The software has a lot of functionality and is pretty easy to use. Also, they are constantly updating their system and trying to add useful functionality. I love being able to show my clients what the layout of a room will look like. This helps us with the event day. We have solved a lot of problems that could have caused day of stress. What do you dislike? Social Tables has a lot of functionalities but might look a little clustered sometimes. The design of the ...

Great for Collaboration with Multiple Parties

What do you like best? Social Tables is great that it allows us to access over the cloud and easily share updates. Our events team is geolocated, we work with a third party agency on our main event, as well as a contact with a hotel member that's usually located someplace else. The ability to easily share 3D renderings has been invaluable. Additionally we struggle with assigning 600 seats for a gala dinner in less than 24 hours (once we know everyone who has and hasn't made it to the ...

Necessity for event planners

What do you like best? Social Tables is an incredible tool for creating floor plans. It is extremely user friendly and allows you to upload floor plans from venues all over the world. Social tables also allows you to export a report of all of the inventory that was included in your floor plan. For instance, you can export a document that lists how many chairs, tables, etc that you included. What do you dislike? If you are trying to create something custom, like a custom set for ...

Impressed by it's capabilities

What do you like best? I like that venues are already pre-built in there as well as items (furniture, stage setting, etc.) so you can really visualize the layout of your event. What do you dislike? Actually haven't run into anything I dislike about it. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? So far, I haven''t had the opportunity to actually use social tables for one of our events, however, I've done a demo run and played around in it and ...
