It gives you the flexibility to choose not only what you want to capture, including video and sound, but also allows you the freedom of how it is captured and saved. What do you like best about Snagit? I like the clear video and audio quality of the recorded video, which is size efficient too. Panoramic capture is pretty helpful as it allows you to drag the window down and capture the content.

What do you like best about Snagit? The shortcut keys are very responsive to capture screenshot. Ability to save directly to a file such as a word document. Editing feature is packed with good functionality. Video capture is easy. Ability to turn video files into gifs is excellent, although the size can be too large for common use. History of your screen captures is very useful and the ablity to copy directly from the editor is a time saver.
