Student Plan: Great for academic research projects
As a BSc Biomedical Sciences student conducting a research study that required the use of an online questionnaire, I researched various survey hosting platforms. SmartSurvey was the only one I found that met my requirements for UK-hosted servers, GDPR compliance, and security assurances. Great platform!
I used smart survey to create and share a survey as part of my dissertation research. Not only was it really straightforward and easy to use, with lots of options for question type and answer type etc, but it also allowed me to collect, organise and analyse my responses.

MA student using Smart Survey
I am an MA student and I’ve used the Smart Survey Student account for my research questionnaires. I was unsure how to see the Questionnaire responses and so I emailed Smart Survey and had a tailored video tutorial sent to me within 24 hours. The Questionnaires are easy to access and the site is easily navigable. Overall an outstanding service and excellent value for money.
