Great communication tool for virtual communication!

What do you like best? Love that you can send anything from emojis, to gifs to documents! Makes communication amongst coworkers easy and efficient! What do you dislike? Sometimes the help or update notifications are not useful or applicable to me. Sometimes I cannot speak through my computer on a phone call, but it could be my computer's fault not the software. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Being able to communicate virtually in ...

Makes work communication easy

What do you like best? Ease of use. Especially in the current remote setting, I can easily communicate with my entire department. What do you dislike? File sharing can be a bit wonky. Also some of the bot plugins can be annoying. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We’re all able to easily communicate despite no longer being in a central office.

Great collaboration platform, very mature and cross-platform

What do you like best? The maturity and how well it integrates with so many different API's and plug-ins What do you dislike? It would be nice if Slack had a better way of collaborating with Office documents (Word & Excel) for real-time sharing and editing. Recommendations to others considering the product: Slack is a great communication platform. It's available for virtually every device and has a ton of integrations. I do suggest, however, you take a look at what you currently ...

The most powerful tool for business

What do you like best? It is easy to use, it is not that complicated, the interface is quick to understand, its channel system is very comfortable to use in addition to the preview of files from the same app and the integrations it offers for the use of the community. What do you dislike? I don't think I have something I don't like about slack, I love everything and I think it's a very powerful tool as it is working right now, it's amazing! Recommendations to others considering the ...

Slack solves communication challenges

What do you like best? When I first started in my office, the Executive Director and other office members would come to my office and interrupt my work flow. I had to find a way to allow people to communicate with me that wouldn't be intrusive to my work. The solution was Slack. The office took to using Slack very quickly and soon it was used by our entire festival organization. I'm also thankful to Slack for offering a discount to nonprofits. What do you dislike? Training people and ...

Great product

I’ve been using slack for over 2 years. The app is simple and easy to navigate through. It's great for group chats. Also, I tried calls in the app and it was good.

Slack it!

What do you like best? It's secure and open to a localized community so you can share your concerns and talk directly about it by creating your own forums for any external services. You can collaborate with the devs without having to wait for longer periods for responses. What do you dislike? Its UI still needs improvement and looks quite old and under-developed. Recommendations to others considering the product: If you are looking for a simple and open collaboration tool and ...

Slack - instant messaging evolved

What do you like best? The emojis and ability to create custom emojis really bring the life out of instant messaging. What do you dislike? Slack is a new product that will have its bugs like it does not auto update for me. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Instant messaging and breaking the wall of not understanding emotion through messaging.

Communication Made Easy...and Actually Worth Reading

What do you like best? The ability to create focus communities for absolutely anything. This can include business teams, small project teams, or even culture clubs. My favorite was the "Pizza Dog" group, which was basically a place to share memes and was a daily laugh when I needed it most. Slack develops the company culture better than email ever could and allows workers to really express themselves. What do you dislike? It is easy for an organization to make too many groups that ...
