Slack is quite cool to use it in your community or company

What do you like best? How easy it is to customize, add bots to your channels, and integrate with other platforms. What do you dislike? That arriving at a number of messages does not allow you more and remove the history, but obviously I understand that they must monetize it somehow. Recommendations to others considering the product: Try any bot you like it and use it also for notifications on api errors and this kind of things, is so useful! What problems are you solving ...

Excellent cross department communication tool

What do you like best? Slack's integrations are one of the best features. We've integrated it with our work item software, design software as well as our code repo. This, along with the ability to create project specific channels has really increased our efficiency. What do you dislike? Sometimes it can get a little unwieldy in terms of the volume of channels. Also the new 'feature' that doesn't allow you to start a call before you send a message isn't great. What problems are ...

A good messaging platform, but huge disorganization pitfalls

What do you like best? Once set up, it's easy to learn and use. There's a ton of extra functionality that our internal IT team was able to integrate such as notifications from Azure Dev Ops and Octopus Deploy, a few chat bots for quality of life, and an integration with google calendar to update your status and pause notifications. What do you dislike? It can very easily become chaos with the sheer number of channels that people within an organization create. Also I dislike that my ...

A great way to communicate ideas amount a mid-sized company

What do you like best? Slack is a great way to keep up with the latest information that our team shares with each other. With channels, conversations are easily organized and archived. The searchability allows users to find answers to questions that others have already asked. There are plenty of integrations that are available that have increased my workflow abilities (Google Calendar is my favorite). I like being able to join "fun" channels that keep a smile on our faces during the ...

Skip the emails, send a message in slack

What do you like best? I love the ease of use. Plus there are so many apps and plugs ins to make your life easier from google calendar to giphy for sending gifs. Sometimes you need an answer faster than an email and a meeting is too much. The ease of being able to message a teammate and get a quick reply is fantastic! What do you dislike? Sometimes the software sticks and they seem to have more down time as their user base grows. The inability to delete multiple messages at once is ...

Slack Review by Rahul

What do you like best? The flexibility to create groups with multiple people on the go as well as easy to search for keywords from the chat history What do you dislike? It uses a lot of RAM due to which it hangs very often but it is something that you can live with. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?
