One of the better corporate messaging systems

What do you like best? Ease of use and integrations with other build and release tools. Slack is one of the better platforms at integrating with other tools and creating custom slack bots. What do you dislike? Slack is very lacking in search capabilities. It could do a much better job in implementing searching. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I use it for corporate messaging among the engineering teams I manage. We see value in ...

Great application!

What do you like best? You can easily respond to anyone and they have even an app on mobile to track messages efficiently and even have themes! What do you dislike? Very few theme colors, hoping they can more or if we can upload our chosen background theme. Recommendations to others considering the product: It's a great app to connect to everyone in the world and so easy to use and very convenient. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

Slack is a brilliant tool for communicating and is invaluable during this pandemic

What do you like best? Ability to communicate in varied ways either directly to individuals and groups of individuals or in channels that are topic focused. Also the ability to call people or groups of people is really handy. What do you dislike? Sometimes the call functionality isn't particularly stable - I often have trouble with it connecting to my mic and headphones and Slack needs restarting. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...

Interesting to chat with co-workers, but become extremely messy

What do you like best? It's an easy set up, anyone can use it plus, it's really practical on a daily basis to interact with co-workers, especially remotely What do you dislike? My dislike is based on wrong usage. Most of the time, people use slack to share valuable information, that can be lost really quick after few minutes. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We send less useless emails, so information flow is better inside the ...

Great app with a lot on integrations

What do you like best? I like mostly all the integrations it has, with google calendar, drive, among others. Also, the fact that you can create reminders and add gifs to a conversation which always add a joyful note to message your colleagues. It also makes it really easy to track past messages What do you dislike? There's nothing really that I dislike as a user, sometimes the sounds within the slack calls but that's about it. What problems are you solving with the ...

A great and casual way to stay connected to coworkers

What do you like best? I love the interface of Slack and the ability to add your own emojis. Chatting over slack feels like a very personal way to stay connected to teammates despite it technically being a work app. What do you dislike? I think Slack should add gif profile icons! Right now- one can only do dynamic profile pictures and I think being able to add dynamic ones would be really fun! What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...

Responsive and informal

What do you like best? Separated into channels. Can even use cross-company so great for integration on client side. What do you dislike? Very little to dislike, and it seems to be updated regularly. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Just a great 'always on' comms tool. I genuinely don't mind replying to the odd slack message on days off.

Best way to communicate among teams

What do you like best? It's been a great way to communicate remotely from anywhere, connect with colleagues and team-mates. Very easy and BOT feature is awesome. What do you dislike? It is less secure if it provides encryption / security like Wire then it could be the best professional messenger. Recommendations to others considering the product: A good tool for anyone What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We integrate SLACK ...

Simple and intuitive. definitely a sturdy replacement for office comms.

What do you like best? Works cross organisation. Ideal when placed on client side. Channels are fantastic for splitting informal and formal conversations and the slack bot is more valuable than annoying. Great integration with giphy, emoji, etc for less formal channels and use cases. I also appreciate having the flexibility to drop into a call / vid-call within a group. It's a fantastic time saver and goes some way to removing barriers created by working remotely. Having the ...
