"Slack is THE way our company collaborates"

What do you like best about Slack? When I started ~4 years ago, our company used Slack exclusively for internal communication (versus email). I had used Slack previously but couldn't imagine using it completely for internal communications. 4 years later, I can't imagine ever using email for internal communications again.
