You can organize all the comunication with you team, have chanels with your clientes outside of organization, program messages, use the filter to find an old message, remember you of a message later, so many funcionality. What do you like best about Slack? Getting notifications live in real time with slack helps me stay ontop of meetings and deliveries. When there is a package scanned to my attn, I recieve a notification. Same thing with the Visitor feature in Envoy. When a guests sign in and puts me down as the host, it is helpful whem I am notified that they have arrived.
