Straightforward and Simple

What do you like best? I've been using Skyward for the past year as I finished my student teaching in Special Education at Illinois State University. Skyward has been awesome to use because everything is so straightforward and simple. Although I received some training from other teachers, I was able to navigate and use Skyward on my own easily. What do you like best? I really like that it allows us to pick different categories for out percentages. And then does all the calculations for us. Saves a ton of time. What do you like best? I like that I can name and describe the different assignment I give students. I like that there are several categories in which to put projects and classwork, etc. Skyward makes it easy to see a student's complete profile including their schedule which is very helpful when trying to find a student during any time of the day or week. User-friendly

What do you like best? I like that it is easy to enter assignments and grades in categories you pre-select and give percentage weights. I also love being able to communicate to the parents/guardians whose e-mails are entered. What do you dislike? I wish there were a way to delay how immediately it can be seen - in other words, be able to not show an assignment grade until all are graded - students talk to one another and freak out if their friend sees a grade and they don't. It can be frustrating at times to utilize the system.

What do you like best? Financial section easy to use and navigate. What do you dislike? Multiple systems needed in order to function and complete day to day tasks. Not all systems communicate effectively which leads to redundant work. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? If you have a deep knowledge of the system it could be beneficial, but there is a huge learning curve.

I use Skyward for the student management and discipline system as well as for my employee access.

What do you like best? It is fairly easy to find student information. What do you dislike? I don't like that it is not all encompassing in regards to data. While it is pretty easy to find student information I am not fond of the layout and look. Perfect for daily useage

What do you like best? For me, the best aspect of Skyward is the continuity and convince. I like that I can put in my attendance and the office can view it right away. I like that it combines my employee information along with my class information. It's great how everything is all in one place. What do you dislike?
