Been Using Skype For Years

What do you like best? Skype has all the features I need for a communication client, and it implements them very well. It's a smooth experience, call quality is good, and it's easy to call, message, video chat, and more. What do you dislike? This is a bit of a shallow complaint, but I'm not crazy about the sounds. Also, not thrilled it's part of Microsoft now, but these are all minor complaints. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...

Love the clear communication

What do you like best? Always have a great connection with Skype. I never have to worry about not being able to understand who I'm talking with. What do you dislike? Sometimes there is a little bit of a latency issue. This could be caused by internet speed, but sometimes I can tell there is a larger delay. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Communicating between friends and family has been huge because of Skype.

Skype is great for all business as well as personal needs!

What do you like best? I love the interface of using Skype. It's easy to use and understand, unlike a lot of video call programs. It's also very reliable! Rarely are there any problems with connection, lagging, etc. What do you dislike? Literally the only thing I dislike (if it's even a dislike and not a gripe) is how it will say I'm online if I'm not, or how difficult it is to truly close the program and not having it run in the background. Recommendations to others considering ...

A good option for video conferencing!

What do you like best? It's very user-friendly. Easy to download, install, and launch. What do you dislike? It is not always reliable. You have to count on people's connectivity. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? A quick way to collaborate with colleagues who are not working in the office.

Awesome software for Video Calls!!

What do you like best? Skype is like a buddy to my HR team for conducting interviews of the candidates. We are having our offices at many different locations and doing recruitment for them from our Head Office itself. This is where Skype comes as handy. Candidates as well as we employers are able to save travel time and travel expenses for interviews. We interview candidates from different locations by sitting at our Head Office. The communications has become much easier with it. ...

Skype can be used as Official and unofficial purposes which is actually a real pros.

What do you like best? It is best for official meeting and conferencing purposes. Conferencing can be done both with the audio and video calling. Most importantly it can call to all the international numbers without any additional charges. What do you dislike? Skype in windows take long time to launch and start. Same number cannot be used for two different ID's. Recommendations to others considering the product: Go for it, Skype will fill your expectations and fulfillments ...

Must Have Communication Tool

What do you like best? Quick, easy, conversations that don’t interrupt what I’m working on. Conversation history that is automatically saved on my Microsoft outlook. The emojis that are available are perfect, not too many that make you overthink which one to add but applicable in the sense you want to ensure a certain “tone” is implied. What do you dislike? It might be my web connection but when using the audio on several occasions over three years I’ve noticed it’s hit or miss. ...

Face to face connection despite what is in the way

What do you like best? I like the ability to talk face to face with people that I could not meet up with in person. This is the next best thing. I am a huge fan of face to face interactions, but sometimes distance makes that impossible. Skype is bridging the relationship gap that we have lost in our technological age by allowing us to see the person we are talking to. What do you dislike? Sometimes there is some lag especially between the audio and visual. Recommendations to ...
