Skype is great!
What do you like best? I like that I am able to view whether my coworkers are online and whether they are available for a quick chat. It's much simpler than emailing back and forth for a quick question. I also like that we can screenshare in this program. This makes it much easier to see when issues arise and to help others. What do you dislike? I have witnessed situations when images aren't able to come across between conversations. It shows that it's trying to send but the image ...

Professional calling app
What do you like best? The best I liked about this is the feature of group call. Nothing would serve you better if you can easily communicate with your team without any hiccups. The video quality, the sound quality, the connection quality even on slow network is great. The quick response tab is great for desktop application, it helps to respond easily for trivial replies without opening the application. What do you dislike? There were issues related to notifications on my iPhone app ...

Universally used video calling app
What do you like best? Everyone is aware of the name and functionality so it becomes easy to say lets connect on skype instead of saying lets do a video call. I think skype is more preferred for professional purposes. What do you dislike? It's risky as any random person can send you a message or find you over skype just by typing your name and seeing your picture. I have contacted by random people sending me HI messages! Also, skype for business is annoying as a desktop app because ...

Great software, but keep your notifications on
What do you like best? I love Skype - this platform is so easy to use and lots of people in other countries still rely on it. I know we're shifting away from it in the US but when you work with people from overseas a lot, you'll find that this is a great tool. What do you dislike? If you don't turn your notifications on you will NEVER know that you have alerts. You must keep that application open and running with notifications ON. What problems are you solving with the product? ...

Skype - First mover in VOIP
What do you like best? Skype has always been free and remains a free, truly international service. While WhatsApp is international, Skype for desktop is highly competitive. What do you dislike? I’ve had bandwidth and recording issues in the past. Also that it’s possible to lose Skype credit. Recommendations to others considering the product: Good desktop use for users that are smartphone challenged. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

Worldwide communication
What do you like best? Skype has been around long enough to become a known standard. It has been around this long because of the constant quality of the service. What do you dislike?
