Are you using Sketch?
Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Sketch is macOS and iPad only—if your team uses Windows or Linux, you'll need a separate tool or browser-based alternative for those users. The color picker has a known lag when sampling from external applications, which matters if you're matching brand palettes frequently. Before committing, verify in a demo that Sketch's component system (symbols) works for ...Read more

Extensive library of assets and plugins enhancing workflow and creativity.
Collaboration features like real-time team functionality and integration with other tools.

My UI/UX companion.
What do you like best? Sketch comes with a well lai- out user interface easing navigation. I love the enormous resource guide available outthere for this program ; making it easy to find answers when and if you ever need help. The craft and invision feature is the modern day designers friend. What do you dislike? I always develop my own symbol library from scratch when starting a project on Scratch. Will be beautiful for Sketch to come with it's own default library. What problems are ...

great
What do you like best? We launched photoshop to start a project, but after a 25 minute session (in which we can say we pretty much enjoyed since we were real Photoshop geeks before moving to Sketch, we decided that Sketch still feels better for UI design. I know what you’re thinking… 25 minutes is not considered giving PS a real chance. I agree, but still, that’s all it took for us to say “Nah, this doesn’t feel right”. In those 25 minutes we tried to import an SVG into PS and of ...

Fast and easy to knock out lots of UI design work.
What do you like best? For software and web UI design, we tend to create lots and lots of variations, so being able to quickly create, duplicate and modify screens with slight variations is key. This is made easy by features such as symbols (not a unique idea but they work so well in Sketch. The slicing and asset export is also excellent, it's very easy to use but also flexible enough to export complex things like sprite sheets (even if the design is only displaying certain icons from ...

SO EASY TO USE! Has replaced Adobe Illustrator for me
What do you like best? The interface is really clean, and so easy to use! The keyboard shortcuts are really intuitive and so useful. My favorite is "Alt/Option", which tells you the distance between objects - great for pixel perfection and aligning things. I also love it's management of layers, and for UI/UX design, it blows Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop out of the water. I find those tools way to cluttered and difficult to use. What do you dislike? I don't dislike anything about ...

Good software for UI/UX designers
What do you like best? I can create mockups, wireframings and prototypes for app design What do you dislike? I can't create interactive prototypes. Sketch haven't compatibility with Adobe Illustrator Recommendations to others considering the product: Simple sotware to create wireframing and prototype for UI/UX design. I think Sketch is an alternative to Adobe Experience Design What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I create concept and ...

Pleasant but can be better
What do you like best? Straightforward interface that doesn't require too much time to feel hands-on. What do you dislike? Some shortcuts or tools are not intuitive. If migrate from Adobe software or other UX tools, you may need to think and "remember" which shortcut to use. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Wireframe, interactive design.

Sketch is awesome!
What do you like best? I like that when there are design changes I can edit the font types, colors, etc. through the symbols panel. It has helped me design websites and apps faster, and it is at a bargain price. What do you dislike? The problem tends to be a little bit buggy, like when you are trying to bring vectors objects in from another program. Recommendations to others considering the product: Good inexpensive that gets the job done. What problems are you solving with the ...

Rapid Constructing Asset
What do you like best? At least from the standpoint of someone comfortable with Adobe Illustrator, Sketch is quite intuitive, and without the often superfluous bells and whistles, is very quick to acclimate to and produce with. What do you dislike? Sometimes pathfinding is a bit finicky with large numbers of shapes. I wish there was an easy way to expand or contract a shape from a point. Recommendations to others considering the product: I don't see Sketch as a replacement for Adobe ...

Still the industry standard
What do you like best? Sketch is really simple and easy to use. The mirror/share feature is great for showing others the mocks. What do you dislike? It misses animation which has made me start to have a look around at other products, although there still isn't a more complete product than Sketch. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Wireframes and high fidelity mockups to get sign off before development.

The best tool for designers
What do you like best? Sketch is very easy to use. Even if you do not know this job, you can start to learn with Sketch and improve yourself. For professional designers, this tool is very powerfull too. You can add plugins, create your own library of symbols and share this library with your collegues. So easy! What do you dislike? As mobile designer, I would prefer some native features to have iOS and Android symbols by default. But I suppose that this kind of tool is used for many ...
