Are you using Sketch?
Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Sketch is macOS and iPad only—if your team uses Windows or Linux, you'll need a separate tool or browser-based alternative for those users. The color picker has a known lag when sampling from external applications, which matters if you're matching brand palettes frequently. Before committing, verify in a demo that Sketch's component system (symbols) works for ...Read more

My love-hate relationship with Sketch (but mostly love)
What do you like best? I love that Sketch is both vector and non-vector based. That means I can create icons and illustrations all in Sketch, and also take them back and forth between Sketch and Illustrator. What do you dislike? Selecting the layer I want can sometimes be a real pain point. I sometimes have to click a dozen times to get to a layer, and often I can't even edit the text in a text layer unless I physically click on the "Edit Text" button (as opposed to double-clicking on ...

Its a very good tool for visual design
What do you like best? Making components and compatibility to other platforms What do you dislike? Arrangement of tool presets. Its more concise and understandable. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Far better than Photoshop. If I want to change something(ex.Button label, it reflects on all pages. That would be very good feature rather than editing each and every page.

Sketch is great for simple vector work
What do you like best? Sketch is a great vector graphics solution. You'll love how much you can do with the app. What do you dislike? Sketch is great, but it would be better if it had better tools for managing color profiles. Illustrator is far superior in this aspect. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Our company uses Sketch for some simple graphic design.

Simple, reliable and great support
What do you like best? I started using Sketch in 2016 and liked it ever since. The number of tools is just great and customisation options are amazing. Also, the community and plugin eco-system is very helpful in order to get the most from Sketch. Another great point is the price, at only £45 they are almost giving away this great software. What do you dislike? I could not find any major flaws in the software. Responsive designs used to be a bit of a drawback for me but the team is ...

Simply the best ux/ui tool
What do you like best? Sketch is a great ux design tool. I really enjoy how simple it is to create great designs quickly. What do you dislike? Sketch is generally solid, but it would be better if it could open files from Illustrator. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I use Sketch for graphic creation.

Makes small work of UI design
What do you like best? What I love about Sketch is how simple it is. No joke it’s a UI/UX designers dream. Forget all the extra junk you never use in Photoshop and Illustrator this practically does it all and more. This is great for app and mobile website design and It comes preloaded with iOS kits to help simulate interactions. Frames can be linked together to create prototypes too, removing the need for 3rd party software like Axure. What do you dislike? I’m not so fond of the ...

I love Sketch!
What do you like best? As a UI developer, working with assets from our designers is an important part of my job. Sketch makes it easy with great, straightforward tools. The option to export assets at different resolutions for different devices is particularly useful. What do you dislike? I wish there were more freely available assets available for Sketch like there are for Adobe products. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We use Sketch ...

IU made Easy
What do you like best? The program is very easy to use, they have mini videos to help you out if you are completely lost. What I really enjoy is that you can preview how your project looks on your mobile phone too which comes in handy for mobile app design. What do you dislike? The scaling of images and cropping/ editing is very minimal I suggest doing all that in Photoshop first, Sketch isn't really made for that. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have ...

Alternative to Adobe
What do you like best? I like that sketch is a combination of Adobe InDesign and Illustrator – it has a majority of the capabilities those two softwares have. It is also very friendly – easy to use. What do you dislike? There are limitations to sketch compared to what I can do when using Adobe InDesign or Illustrator. I can't think of anything specifically right now, but I know there have been times that I have come to a point where I didn't like how it was set up or operated because ...
