Are you using Sketch?
Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Sketch is macOS and iPad only—if your team uses Windows or Linux, you'll need a separate tool or browser-based alternative for those users. The color picker has a known lag when sampling from external applications, which matters if you're matching brand palettes frequently. Before committing, verify in a demo that Sketch's component system (symbols) works for ...Read more

A must have for designers
What do you like best? Sketch is the must have software for any designer. It is easy to learn and once you do, the possibilities are endless. The tools provide enough flexibility to create low fidelity wireframes to detail driven prototypes. What do you dislike? The craft plugin can be a little buggy, and it doesn't have brushes like Illustrator, but I'm not sure that's what it's supposed to be used for anyways. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

Relatively simple to learn with great results
What do you like best? I love how easily someone can learn Sketch. What do you dislike? I've had a decent amount of issues with exporting things I create within Sketch. Recommendations to others considering the product: I'd recommend watching some tutorials before jumping in and attempting tasks on your own. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We have a need for creating our own infographics for proposals and presentations, so ...

Game Changer
What do you like best? Sketch has completely revolutionized my workflow. From wireframing and interactive mockups to CSS and asset exports, I now use Sketch in every step of design and development and love that I can easily share and collaborate with my clients and other designers. What do you dislike? Given that Sketch is still relatively new and rapidly adding features there are occasional bugs. Releases and bug fixes roll out quickly now though and I haven't been affected by a bug ...

Quick workflow, takes some getting used to after years of Photoshop
What do you like best? Clean interface, great ability to export for devices and mobile friendly applications. I'm very impressed by the way this software took the design world by storm, and quickly became a must-have. What do you dislike? Quite a departure from the workflow of Photoshop and other Adobe products, took some time to adjust to a different way of working. I would have liked some better overall tutorials that help legacy designers adjust better. What problems are you ...

Amazing UI Underdog
What do you like best? Sketch is the tool I use most in my day-to-day work. It's designed specifically for handling UI tasks like laying out mobile app designs. As such, the features you need are right there at your fingertips, and the ones you don't are hidden away. I love this. What do you dislike? Every once in a while when I need to do something more powerful, I have to fire up Adobe Illustrator to handle the task. This usually happens when I need to actually illustrate something, ...

Thankfully, Most of Our Designers Use Sketch...
What do you like best? Thankfully, most of our designers have switched to Sketch at this point. It's significantly faster than Adobe Illustrator and has some really convenient options for exporting images, like the ability to export at multiple sizes simultaneously. Love it! What do you dislike? Sometimes Sketch has problems opening SVG files or vector files saved in other programs. Given that these are open file formats, Sketch should be better at this... What problems are you ...
