Are you using Sketch?
Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Sketch is macOS and iPad only—if your team uses Windows or Linux, you'll need a separate tool or browser-based alternative for those users. The color picker has a known lag when sampling from external applications, which matters if you're matching brand palettes frequently. Before committing, verify in a demo that Sketch's component system (symbols) works for ...Read more

Works well for Prototyping
What do you like best? All the tools available for design and easy exportation of all the materials into pdfs for presentation. What do you dislike? Learning curve when first using it. If you're used to using other design tools for example Photoshop or Xd, Sketch comes off as a best less forward. Sketch takes more practice than other tools. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We are able to quickly build a model of an app we want to ...

Simply The Best: Sketch!
What do you like best? The best feature of sketch is a user's ability to add notes to a pic or screenshot. What do you dislike? What I dislike the most about sketch is the basic features it includes but then again this is what makes the software very user friendly and easy to use. Recommendations to others considering the product: Use it. It's simple, yet has almost everything you could possibly need in its features it offers. What problems are you solving with the product? What ...

Best software for UI design
What do you like best? It's super easy to use, it has a lot of functions, templates and plug-in that make your workflow fast and pleasant. It has preset Artboards and you can create Symbols to easily change part of your design even at a late stage. What do you dislike? It's not as easy as other softwares if you want to export the graphic to an external animation software. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I use it to design the User ...

Web & Mobile Layouts Made Simple
What do you like best? Sketch makes designing web and mobile layouts simple. It's got a great set of tools for creating pixel-perfect designs, turning them into clickable prototypes, and even testing them on your phone with Sketch Preview. I love working in this tool every day. What do you dislike? Sketch, like any app, does have a few minor flaws. I don't particularly like how the program handles color profiles, for example. The frequent updates can be a bit annoying, too. ...

I use Sketch almost exclusively now...
What do you like best? I use Sketch for the vast majority of my day-to-day interface design work now. It's become my go-to because it's so streamlined for creating quick layouts. The tools for creating and editing shapes and turning them into repeatable elements are fantastic. What do you dislike? Sketch doesn't come with all the bells and whistles you might be used to from Adobe's design apps. While this is mostly a positive, it can sometimes mean you need to think a bit harder about ...

Sketch is Really Almost Perfect
What do you like best? I use Sketch for most of my interface design work. It's a great tool for designing sleek, responsive applications. I love the options for creating symbols, which are almost like a programmatic approach to creating reusable design elements. It makes designing interfaces that stay in sync easy. What do you dislike? Sketch is almost perfect. I say almost because there are bugs introduced about every other week since they update the app so frequently. Most of them ...

Good for prototyping
What do you like best? It's not overly bloated with a ton of features and has enough features to get the job done. It's an efficient application for a UI designer. What do you dislike? There isn't anything I dislike. But I think the vector editing feature can be improved. Right now, I just create all the vector art in Illustrator and bring them into Sketch. But with this improvement, I can see myself ditching Illustrator. Recommendations to others considering the product: Plug-ins ...

Best Tool for Designing and Wireframing
What do you like best? I really like how Sketch is fluid- it allows you to complete tasks efficiently and quickly. Creating symbols saves a lot of time. I also like how it is compatible with a lot of plug-ins. You don't have to worry about layers, the way you do in other design programs. What do you dislike? Sometimes when Sketch files get to be too large, they get very slow and take a while to send or load. There are also a few clunky things like items disappearing when you drag them. ...

The best user interface tool, bar none
What do you like best? Sketch is amazing tool for designing beautiful user interfaces. I love how simple it is to choose an artboard for your form factor and get going with shapes, symbols, and more. It's an excellent tool that every UX/UI designer should use. What do you dislike? The Sketch team moves so quickly that there are frequent updates and changes to the product. In general that's a good thing, but sometimes it means that plugins I rely on are broken. This gets really ...
