Are you using Sketch?
Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Sketch is macOS and iPad only—if your team uses Windows or Linux, you'll need a separate tool or browser-based alternative for those users. The color picker has a known lag when sampling from external applications, which matters if you're matching brand palettes frequently. Before committing, verify in a demo that Sketch's component system (symbols) works for ...Read more

Extensive library of assets and plugins enhancing workflow and creativity.

Sketch
What do you like best? Sketch is super simple to use. It’s great for making a quick mock-up or simply to get ideas out of your head. What do you dislike? It’s served me very well for what I use it for. Recommendations to others considering the product: It’s very easy to use and there are a lot of third party integrations which help with work flow! What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Sketch is super useful when you need to user test a ...

Easy and intuitive
What do you like best? As a product manager, it's helpful to be able to throw together something to explain what you're talking about. Don't worry, designers, I don't use it for final designs - just a way to quickly and beautifully present my thoughts. I find it even easier to use than powerpoint. What do you dislike? There's definitely a learning curve in order to use it well. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Better explaining my ...

A designers essential tool for success.
What do you like best? There's little question that sketch is the benchmark that the fortune 500 companies use for design. Absolutely an essential pice to a mobile/web design workflow. What do you dislike? The licensing model is old and outdated. Do monthly subscriptions. Recommendations to others considering the product: Download a trial and play with it. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Design works faster at my company because ...

Great design tool
What do you like best? I'm a new user of this tool and I have to say I like how simple and easy it is to use. All the designers on my team are well-versed in Sketch so there's a huge user base to attain knowledge from. What do you dislike? Not much dislike, but some stuff aren't intuitive. Takes some digging, but eventually it's easy to use. Recommendations to others considering the product: Do it! It is a great alternative to all the other design tools. What problems are you ...

Amazing Software for UI and UX
What do you like best? Sketch is a very easy and intuitive software to use and helps users create several interfaces in a few minutes. Users can work on multiple artboards at the same time and have the desktop, tablet and mobile versions of the layout in the same file, which can be very practical if there is a need to change some details on the design of the interfaces. What do you dislike? The software gets a lot of updates in short periods of time, which is a bit annoying since you ...

Industry standard, but exclusive to MACs.
What do you like best? Setting up the text styles to use for later! Also having symbols and buttons ready, as well as having the artboards and pages. Really helps me visualize everything. It also has a great integration with InVision, making prototyping very fast. What do you dislike? My biggest gripe is that it’s for Mac only - it’s 2018. How are we still only developing things for one software? Also, I personally didn’t find Sketch super-intuitive to learn, but I was stuck in the ...

Amazing UI; Effortlessly!
What do you like best? I can create a UI with all the assets I need from start to finish and then export them in slices to my programmers. Sample data and photo are also a one-click solution! Its a dream come true! What do you dislike? There is absolutely nothing that I dislike about this software! Just keep the bug fixes and features coming! Recommendations to others considering the product: There is no subscription fee for this software and its very affordable! Once you buy, you ...

Amazing for iOS App Mockups
What do you like best? I like how catered it is towards iOS applications. It gives me the option to select which iphone model and then being able to design apps specifically for that interface/ display. It is very simple to use and a lot of things are designed to make your life easier, rather than having to use photoshop and designing everything from scratch. It also integrates really nicely with InVision, in which I make the interactive-ness of the mockups. What do you dislike? I ...

Sketch for UX
What do you like best? The flexibility to import and export files from and to multiple platforms. What do you dislike? I don't like that it is only available on Mac, most of the windows users are in need of it. Recommendations to others considering the product: launching the software for other platforms and adding more interaction on the platform will be helpful. This will reduce the users using plugins like invision and principle. What problems are you solving with the product? ...

Best tool for hi-fi prototyping
What do you like best? 1 Sleek UI which allow that a non full experienced designer can start to create meaningful prototypes. 2 "Symbols" as a great shortcut for faster prototyping 3 Available plugins for 3rd party vendors 4 Recently launched preview (even though still limited 5 Last but not least. Important that they are DESKTOP based. Really important for a great performance. What do you dislike? 1 Non intuitive objects/elements/layers grouping. 2 "Preview" still ...
