Are you using Sketch?
Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Sketch is macOS and iPad only—if your team uses Windows or Linux, you'll need a separate tool or browser-based alternative for those users. The color picker has a known lag when sampling from external applications, which matters if you're matching brand palettes frequently. Gets the job done
What do you like best? Sketch is all round quite stable, does almost everything you need for UX/UI design and is regularly updated. Symbols and libraries are great for managing design systems at scale. What do you dislike? Can be crashy, and leaves a little to be desired in color management and animation. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Designing our tools and consumer-facing software.

Mockup Heaven
What do you like best? I got on board with Sketch when it was still version 2 and have kept up with it ever since as a loyal user. Take away the fluff of photoshop and add in tools that make your life easier and push your work further - that is Sketch in a nutshell. I love the clean design more than anything, which really aids the creative process. The ability to export in multiple formats at once is a game changer. What do you dislike? Sometimes a figure will get stuck in between two ...

Best current alternative for Ux/Ui
What do you like best? It’s easy to use and integrates well with InVision for Rapid Prototyping. What do you dislike? There are some minor bug sometimes, it’s a relatively new software, so that’s the downside of it. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We use it for creating wireframes and high fidelity mockups. It’s quick and easy to get something that you can create a click through to share a concept.

I wish there was the ability to export designs in lower qualities for first drafts/ideation rather than using plugins to get around this. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Sketch is used for web and email design and it is super easy to share with developers and stakeholders using Zeplin ...

Great tool for iterative design and instant sharing via 3rd party apps
What do you like best? The ability to create symbols which change universally when I need them to is a huge help in design. Also being able to create symbols with behaviors built in so they resize and maintain their proportions and layout is key. One of the biggest advantages of sketch is being able to use Craft Plugins and having my artboards automatically sync to projects in InVision so I can easily share and collect feedback from stakeholders. What do you dislike? As powerful as ...

It's getting better all the time
What do you like best? Sketch is built for designers; the UI is simple but powerful. Unlike, eg, photoshop, the interface doesn't overload you with choice; what's accessible are the tools you need. What do you dislike? Not much - maybe the keyboard commands could be a little more robust, and I don't like the idea of partial pixels. Recommendations to others considering the product: Get it now. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Sketch ...
