Are you using Sketch?
Spotsaas Editor’s POV
Sketch is macOS and iPad only—if your team uses Windows or Linux, you'll need a separate tool or browser-based alternative for those users. The color picker has a known lag when sampling from external applications, which matters if you're matching brand palettes frequently. Before committing, verify in a demo that Sketch's component system (symbols) works for ...Read more

Great program for UX / UI
What do you like best? While hesitant to get away from the Adobe suite, no I find myself frustrated when I have to use Illustrator to create apps. It is super easy to learn, the symbols are amazing when you use them correctly, and the fact that you can prototype and connect with invision is an excellent plus. What do you dislike? There are updates very often and I'm always scared to do them bc I got a file corrupted once while updating with the app open. Maybe you should be forced to ...

What do you like best? it is much, much, much simpler than Adobe Illustrator. If you are trying to learn to vector, or wireframing websites, this is the best tool. What do you dislike? They update often, but stuff always breaks with the update. i wish they did mroe QA testing before rolling out updates Recommendations to others considering the product: much less intimidating than illustrator. Easy to learn and powerful tool What problems are you solving with the product? What ...

The new standard.
What do you like best? Sketch just works and the learning curve is easy. We used to do all of our web comps in Photoshop which resulted in large files and lots of files. Now we do everything in sketch and it saves so much time and space. What do you dislike? Sketch is updated super often and it seems like updates occassionally come with quirky bugs that weren’t there before. It would also be nice to customize a little bit more - to make the layout your own (and closer to Adobe style ...

Approachable Design Program
What do you like best? I love how approachable the user interface is in Sketch! What do you dislike? I don’t like that there are slight differences than most adobe programs. Recommendations to others considering the product: Try using Sketch templates! What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I am creating wire frames and app prototypes. I love that it is so easy and friendly.

It's alright
What do you like best? It's ease of use. I used InDesign for years and the shortcuts I learned from it work in Sketch, which makes me very happy. It's easy to manage multiple artboards in it. What do you dislike? I wish it was more intuitive. To my knowledge, it doesn't have the ability to create interactive prototypes yet, which might be its biggest downside. It'd be nice to be able to create wireframes and interactive prototypes in it. Recommendations to others considering the ...

Designer review for Sketch
What do you like best? Sketch is very easy and straightforward to use for user interface design. I like its clean layout and rich functionalities What do you dislike? sometimes it's a little buggy, small things like exporting assets to svg would ruin my design, lines can't align to each other.etc Recommendations to others considering the product: Sketch is by far the best software for Mac users to create UX/UI related stuff, but there are more online design tools coming out like ...

Sketch Review
What do you like best? Sketch feels purposeful, like the creators knew there was a hole in the design market that needed a way to do both wire framing and high fidelity mock-ups with ease and the flexibility of Illustrator. Right when you think Adobe's "next big update" is going to make Sketch obsolete, Sketch comes out with the next wave of features, improvements, and 3rd party plugins that just remind you why you've stayed for so long. What do you dislike? It's great they are always ...

Every Visual Designer NEEDS Sketch
What do you like best? I absolutely love Sketch for any and every type of visual design. For the price, you get a whole lot with one tool. It's not as deep as the Adobe Suite, but let's be honest most people don't need that kind of depth. What do you dislike? I really don't dislike anything! Sketch really meets all of my expecations and needs. Recommendations to others considering the product: Take advantage of the free trial. It takes a little to learn how to use the tool, but ...
