I called Site Lock through iPage and spoke with Manne Lasiloo who helped me understand what I was signing up for with detailed accuracy. In a few hours Site Lock had all the malware removed and the site was ready to be updated. Thank you, Site Lock.

Thank you! I tried to work with Bluehost for almost two weeks to resolve the issue. They never once pointed me to address the problem with SiteLock and they repeatedly claimed they would have the "DNS issues" resolved within "4 hours." This went on over five lengthy chat attempts for the past two weeks. It's been a maddening, abysmal failure on their end. On my own accord I contacted SiteLock yesterday. Saved my bacon.

Saved my bacon. I was faced with the possibility of re-developing a whole site; in the end the malicious software was removed and the password for my database was restored. Appears the hack changed my database pw. Fast work on your part. Breach happened about 9 a.m., verified through host company 10 a.m., resolved completey by mid-afternoon. Good work!
