Sitefinity has been a clean intuitive interface for setting up pages and adding content easily
What do you like best? I really like how clean the user interface is as well as how easy it is to customize pages and content with little html and css knowledge What do you dislike? I wish there was a better help section and tutorials for learning the site quicker. Recommendations to others considering the product If your looking for something that is easily customized this is a no-brainer. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We ...

Exciting and rewarding.
What do you like best? It is secure and highly functional. It is an off the shelf product that has no external code, which is very important from a legal perspective, especially to corporations and large companies. Once integrated to the specific needs of the client, it provides immense control of the content and its visual presentation on variety, of devices and media. Last but not least, it offers a lot of out of the box integrations to third party products and services. What do you ...

Sitefinity Review
What do you like best? Easy UI is great for our clients. Development is also fairly straight forward. What do you dislike? Lack of documentation sometimes, support is very slow and their responses tend to be less than ideal What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Websites

Sitefinity Review
What do you like best? At a basic level sitefinity is relatively easy use. Dragging and dropping items where needed makes basic page building very convenient. What do you dislike? Trying to go outside of the basic things within sitefinity seems to require a lot more knowledge in web page building. Trying to customize certain widgets like the navigation bar can be very complicated. Also implementing things like jquery is proven to be a challenge for myself who is relatively new to web page ...

A little clumsy but overall usable CMS
What do you like best? The ability to custom code your own widgets is very handy for developers. What do you dislike? The backend UI is incredibly confusing. Settings are buried in places that are hard to find. In short, it's very difficult to find your way around. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We wanted a platform where our client could edit some of their own content and upload documents monthly to the site. Sitefinity has ...

Sitefinity CMS
What do you like best? I like the WYSIWIG editor the best. It gives the client the easiest method to edit pages. What do you dislike? There are some things that I do not like, many of which are from a development standpoint. The documentation for developers is not very comprehensive or very well-organized. The API can be inconsistently designed and difficult to use, but mostly I feel that this is down to the documentation. Recommendations to others considering the product Do your ...

Getting better but not a lot of good integrations.
What do you like best? When built correctly (using a great Sitefinity partner the tool is great. They have a great language adaptor that makes translating into multiple languages very easy. What do you dislike? The integrations with Sitefinity are limited. We bought the extra Marketo upgrade that doesn't do anything for us. We are also interviewing multiple vendors for software integrations and NO ONE integrates with Sitefinity. What business problems are you solving with the product? ...

Good Website Platform
What do you like best? Sitefinity does well at allowing our users to do easy editing of our web pages and content and allows for a good system of updating pages and has a nice interface What do you dislike? Occasionally the updates do break some functionality and code that our users are used to, and sometimes create a few hurdles for our web designers to overcome and fix, however due to the nature of this being custom code it is a bit understandable. Recommendations to others considering ...

Likeable CMS
What do you like best? It's highly customizable and pretty decent in performance department. Relatively easy to perform operations via API. What do you dislike? A bit challenging to automate. Lots of features are not out of the box and have to be requested. Should be a bit easier to manage providers i.e. for images or documents. A bit hard to split database into separate entities i.e. one for revision history storage and the other for regular operations. But overall a good product. ...
