Flexible CMS geared toward mid-level to enterprise sized organizations
What do you like best? The best part feature of Sitefinity is its flexibility. You can do nearly anything with widgets, either by modifying included code or by creating your own. The code base is also fairly straightforward meaning you can use C# throughout without needing to learn a large bit of a custom language. What do you dislike? On the opposite side of the coin, because it's so flexible, there isn't a lot out of the box that you'll use without at least some customization. Doing ...

Sitefinity review from a developer
What do you like best? There are lots of controls provided by Sitefinity CMS, which can be useful to you if you're developing your amateur website, for example - a website with cooking recipes, or one where you show your pets to the community, or just your personal blog. What do you dislike? The customization of any of the Sitefinity default widgets is a very unpleasant experience. I can give you a good number of examples. The one issue that took me the most time to resolve is customizing ...

An application with far too many revisions in too small a time-frame
What do you like best? Who wouldn't like a robust CMS? With a plethora of templates and features, this tool has a lot to offer. For users who don't need to overhaul a template, or like our case... modify Master Pages, this tool should suffice. However, if you are required to go down that rabbit hole, be prepared to deal with poorly organized CSS content and a convoluted mess of templates and dependent files. What do you dislike? With the exhaustive revision cycle, this application churns ...

There are many advantages, but also many disadvantages.
What do you like best? The best thing on Sitefinity is the "Drag & Drop" Page Editor itself. What do you dislike? I must say, that the performance is not the best. If you add more and more dynamic modules and languages, the system is in the end very slowly. This is not depending on the server. This is a problem of the sitefinity core. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? The biggest benefit of sitefinity is, that you can extend ...

Powerful CMS that needs to be updated regularly
What do you like best? Powerful layout and templating system. Impressive backend. What do you dislike? Lack of responsiveness (backend on earlier versions (8.0 in my case. I don't know if that's been resolved since. Recommendations to others considering the product Compare with other CMS first and make sure the Developers know Sitefinity already if possible. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Easy multilingual management.

Excellent CMS with easy to use UI for both developers and end users.
What do you like best? That the CMS is extremely user friendly and that it is very extendible. There are a lot of features available out of the box that require very little setup to get them working like blogs, events, ecommerce; and the entire product is easily customisable and extendible to fit the need of any business. What do you dislike? There's nothing that I dislike really. Of course the product has its short comings but which product doesn't. What business problems are you solving ...

Developer for Sitefinity
What do you like best? Gives developers a great starting point to provide custom web applications. What do you dislike? Lack of documentation. Spent years working out APIs and various ways to customize both the front and backend. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Instant bootstrapping for users, permissions and content.

Wonderful asp.net CMS
What do you like best? Anyone familiar with asp.net will enjoy the flexibility with modifying and extending this CMS. What do you dislike? The lack of professionally developed themes/skins makes creating a new site somewhat of a burden. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Building a corporate website that pulls data from internal SQL systems is a breeze,

Sitefinity is much more intuitive than most Wordpress sites
What do you like best? The ease of use. Having used Wordpress themes for our other sites and having to dig through endless menus to find anything (there are still things that I haven't been able to change, I am happy to have something that is easy for technical people like myself as well as marketing people to be able to update the site as needed. What do you dislike? I wish the forms were more dynamic. We had a use for a radio button changing options on the forms but it was going to have ...
