Simple Practice has pros and cons
Simple Practice has been easy to use and a positive way to grow my practice. It does allow for quite a bit of flexibility in how to run my practice. Pros: - integrated video conferencing for remote clients that can be accessed by couples in different places. - appointment reminder calls / emails without extra charge - integrated billing, notes, etc. Cons: -Cannot use video for groups / any note-taking ability for groups (although they are supposed to be working on this). - Strip credit ...

Good and bad
There are so many great features about Simple Practice. I find it to be user friendly and my clinicians usually adapt quickly. One thing that I find is helpful is being able to make your own notes templates. I am finding it to be quite expensive for a small group practice that we are. I also have had a hard time since they have increased the credit card processing fees and multiple times in the past two years. I have found SimplePractice to be a…dream!
I have found SimplePractice to be a lifesaver as I've started my private practice. Many of the elements needed to build a therapy business are available on the SimplePractice platform. It's easy to use and offers many affordable options based on needs. I am really grateful for the platform and will continue to use it as a professional!

I can't say enough about how amazing…
I can't say enough about how amazing Simple Practice is. It is not easy to start a practice on your own, but with answers to questions being readily available and templates prepared, EMR being simple once set up, to every area of need being handled through one platform - SP is AMAZING!!!!!

I like using SimplePractice overall
I like using SimplePractice overall. User-friendly and I like that it syncs with your calendar if you get the premium version. The consent form templates were also really helpful as I started my practice. I also like the automatic text and email reminders that are sent out to clients for appointments. downsides include: some of the automatic notifications don’t apply to me (like the mental status exam notifications), $100 is on the higher end for an EHR software, and if you decide not to ...

Would recommend
I have used SimplePractice for several years. First as administrative staff and now as a clinician. Overall, my experience has been positive and I love the functionality of having both record keeping and billing in the same software.

I cannot close my Simple Practice…
I cannot close my Simple Practice account. All links in manage my account work except cancel my account. Although I have emailed several times the problem is not fixed and I continue to get the same unhelpful answer. Which is precisely why I will no longer use Simple Practice. Therapy Notes is awesome with several supports

What I enjoy about SimplePractice is…
What I enjoy about SimplePractice is that they are a super helpful company and have a lot of great resources if you don't understand their system. Their platform is fairly intuitive and straightforward and they are constantly making improvements. I do wish that they had an option for a mandatory reporting note that isn't included in the client file when records are requested.
