The Better Option

I am a psychologist in private practice. I began my practice with a different EMR/EHR designed by/for psychiatrists & therapists, and I found it to be less customizable than I had hoped, and I found it to have unresponsive customer service. Its helpful that there are treatment…

Its helpful that there are treatment plans already built into the plan, but I find it beneficial that you can upload and create your own forms in this platform. The note taking process is also easy and less of a hassle. However, it would also be beneficial to add a feature that allows for imputing a family chart into the system!

Cost effective and mostly user friendly

Platform overall is very easy to use. Writing notes and filing claims is super easy. Platform offers integrated telehealth services as well. Only downside is applying payments and filing secondary insurance claims can be confusing.

I think this is a great platform for keeping multiple facets of private practice organized and in one simple place. It took me a bit to get the hang of the multiple resources. My only feedback is that I wish I could upload my own forms and maybe this can be done and have yet to figure it out

Easy to navigate with minimal nuances.

This company has been extremely responsive within 24 hours when issues arise. The system itself is incredibly easy to navigate and clients report that the client portal is easy to use as well. There are a few simple things lacking such as ability to switch between time zones when appointments reminders are sent if working between multiple time zones, not being able to adjust the coloring of appointments based on appointment type, and inability to add a comment to an appointment on the ...

Top-tier Platform for my Private Practice

SimplePractice has allowed for my private practice to run so smoothly, especially during the pandemic when all services were virtual and everything during that time period was so new. New private practice owner

I started my private practice in February, and I have reached out for support many times. Customer support has been helpful, and everything is inclusive. I even decided to upgrade my plan to make life easier. The most difficult part for me is that SimplePractice marks insurance payments as 'paid' before the money hits my account (these systems don't speak), so I have to keep track that the payments are actually received.
