What do you like best about Similarweb? You can get a bit idea about how great a website is. Also, you can decide your potential competitors with it. What do you dislike about Similarweb? Most of the data is overrated. Where the actual monthly traffic will be 15K, this platform shows more than 1 lakh per month. So you actually can't rely every time on this. These guys are a JOKE

These guys are a JOKE! I was using the free add-on that you can download with Firefox and I was able to get the stats for my Small Business with no problem. I never needed detailed stats but enough to know what's going on. Out of curiosity, I call Similar Web for some more information and when I told them that I was not interested in that type of service and that it was more than what I needed they shut off my ability to see the stats with the free add-on. This is great prospect research tool

PROS: I really like the chrome extension, the data we get is always accurate and it proivides great insight. The visual breakdowns are easy to understand. Also, customer engagement data and when tracking traffic is simple and powerful process.

It is pricy product but it has everything we need

PROS: In my experience, this is great tool because it allows us to track engine traffic, referrals and outgoing traffic for competitors. We are able to export our researches into Excel sheets and to modify data so we can identify affiliate blogs to network with PPC campaigns. Also, the support team is wonderful, you can reach them via email, twitrter and on the phone.

Over Rated Tool. Mostly False Data

The data is nowhere related to the reality. For websites having 5-10K traffic, their data shows more than 1 lakh traffic. This is misleading and not limited to only one website. Hardly I have seen correct data in their tool. Where Moz and SEMRush has improved a lot, this tool and their support is very pathetic.
