Complicated but Helpful

What do you like best? I love that it is providing and connecting data that the company had minimal visibility into previously What do you dislike? How complicated it is to combine sheets for someone new to data analysis, and the difference in abilities between Readers & Authors What problems are you solving with the product? Make the Snowflake experience that much better

What do you like best? Integrates great with Snowflake! Drag and drop for non technical users and sql for power users! Ability slice and dice data in seconds rather than minutes as it would take in spreadsheets and other tools. What do you dislike? Some of the visualization customizations are still being built out (i.e. color changes) and also how dashboards are shared isnt always the most simple. Simple, Easy, Powerful, and Colorful

What do you like best? Can create compelling dashboards quickly. Sigma Support is always available to help and will take Customer's requests into consideration for future improvements that may not be available. What do you dislike? Limited graphing options available (need more!!) Recommendations to others considering the product: Always contact their support, they are super helpful and quick to getting back to you. A Welcome change from Tableau

Makes data easier to use

What do you like best? Sigma's user interface is very intuitive, making it simple for someone with no SQL experience to pull data. The filters are great and the ability to download as csv/excel/etc is excellent too. What do you dislike? It's hard to figure out how to perform some basic functions. For example, I've been unable to save specific filters. My colleague is also unable to figure out how to download as Excel: I have the option but can't find where the button is in her ...

What do you like best? I can group data together and export it as spreadsheet What do you dislike? Sql interface doesn't have great UI. I can only do most of the things via ui instead of SQL What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? User tracking. I like the scheduled exporting feature and was able to build integrations based on exporting to spreadsheet

User friendly for non technical people

What do you like best? It was easy to begin making insights without needing to learn SQL What do you dislike? Data in the hands of whom needs it

What do you like best? Sigma Solution reduced at least by 50% the time used to explore and understand the data in an enterprise data warehouse. By generating automatically the SQL and if something goes wrong with your query it allows the user to review the code behind it so a more advanced user can benefit from the tools as well.
