*Update* After posting this review their "support" team did reach out, and once again had zero solutions. I attempted to return the $300 card reader and their response was, "well, if it works when you reset it, then it works and we can't process a return." Brilliant. Used Shopkeep for 5 years. Overall experience was fine, until Lightspeed bought them out and they switched exclusively to bluetooth card readers (Link 2500). Customer service is in the toilet. If you are looking for a new POS system…

If you are looking for a new POS system do not get into business with ShopKeep. I have been with them since 2016 and their terminals break every year. When they do break they send you a replacement 1 time (after hours on the phone with them begging for a replacement) and the replacements break within a year too. When the replacement terminal breaks be aware that it is not covered under warranty. After that, you are told you have to then repurchase all of your equipment again. It is a scheme ...

Used Shopkeep for 5 years. Overall experience was fine, until Lightspeed bought them out and they switched exclusively to bluetooth card readers (Link 2500). Customer service is in the toilet. It seems they have a script flow chart and all the arrows eventually point to a box that says, "go pound sand." After 4 years, no complaints. Works well!!

We have used this application in our food trucks for the past three to four years and it has proven to be very reliable, very stable, and very efficient and handling all of our transactions. We are very satisfied and pleased with this product and hope to continue using them for many years to come.

Shopkeep takes advantage of small business

We had shopkeep for our small business which closed in 2019. I called to terminate my account the month after we closed. I was told since I paid through the end of the year they couldn’t refund our money but they would terminate the service. Of course, a year later I’m finding out the account was never terminated and I owe $1000 (double the price of a year’s service). At one point we considered reopening our restaurant. I wish I never signed up with them

I wish I never signed up with them. I was dumb enough to sign up for two businesses using Shopkeep. I cant wait to get out of the contract. I may break it anyway. Worth paying the penalty. I mistakenly recommended them and was supposed to receive 500 referral fee. I never did. I have called four times and it is still "in process" two months after referral. I returned a card reader that did not work. I have to wait over 30 days for my refund. But, man are they efficient when it comes to ...

I feel completely screwed over by…

I feel completely screwed over by Shopkeep. I have had my business closed for 16 months. I requested that they quit charging me. 3 months later I notice I’m still getting charged. I call again and they say, oh we just put you dormant. You still have monthly fees. Well three months ago I called and requested for you to quit charging me. I guess I wasn’t clear that I wanted them to QUIT CHARGING ME. I’ve paid nearly $2000 in fees to them without using their service.

Current new user. From the get go I have had countless issues with this POS system. Below is a list of my issues with this company.SALES DEPT: Sold a start up kit which came with no labels.
