USE SQUARE! 2 major disadvantages of Shopkeep

2 major disadvantages- (USE SQUARE, as I will do next month):1) DOUBLE CHARGES. I can;t even begin to count how many double charges I've had to field from customers. They customer calls me and complains that they've been double charged. I ordered Shopkeep 3 weeks ago in order…

I ordered Shopkeep 3 weeks ago to track product and sales. When I ordered it I was going to just get the mid level account which was 1 kiosk with reporting this was about $100 a month. The sales person started out by lying to me saying I only needed 1 ticket printer in order to print both Kitchen tickets and the receipt tickets. I also wanted it to where the servers can input their tickets and our hostess could take care of taking the money. So I would know who to go to if there is an issue ...

Horrible customer service ..

Horrible customer service ... Waited 30 minutes on hold with the same song playing over and over..Finally Ashley got on the phone and did not know how to find the areas I needed help with. I asked for a manager she said there are none??? you have been warned!

THE WORST customer service EVER

THE WORST customer service EVER. I had a problem with the card reader they sent (I had to buy) and did not work properly so I asked for an exchange ( it took me more than half an hour to reach them). They told me it past 30 days so they cant accept the return. I also ordered iPad stand through shopkeep with their logo in with express delivery and after a week I never received it waiting and waiting. Issues from day 1

Cannot customize easily. Non cash gratuities feature is great but when you do a payout for tips this amount should decrease but it doesn't. Quickbooks integration doesn't work from day one. Customer service promises results that don't go anywhere. You cannot get a supervisor on the phone, they must submit a calendar invite (still waiting for this). Paying full price for a partially functional system.

We LOVE it!!!

Using ShopKeep POS has been great for our business. We're a seasonal clothing and gift shop, and have tried several other iPad based POS apps. Shopkeep has proven to be the best. It's easy and intuitive to start using, our staff pick it up quickly and prefer it over any other we've tried. It also handles our large inventory well. I love the back office website for managing inventory items, sales reports, and the staff time clock. For small to mid-size retailers I would highly recommend ShopKeep.

Used to be a great POS system

Used to be a great POS system, but they started raising prices and removing features to encourage you to buy upgraded packages. Prices raised again 2 months ago. Now my mobile app doesn't work, and I can't access the same reports I've used for the past 6 years to do my taxes. I can get those options back if I pay them more, but these are features I've always had, and now they are gone. I'm paying more and getting less as time goes on. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SUPPORT.

If you buy any hardware not from them, even if it’s the same exact thing but waaaay cheaper on amazon, they refuse to help and say the hardware is broken and refuse to help and as soon as you slightly raise your voice they hang up. I had an issue with a cash drawer I bought and it wasn’t from them so they said it was broke and refused to listen to me. Beware Shopkeep POS. It is inaccurate and they will not refund your money!

I have spent months getting a store ready to open to the public. Just before opening to the public, I noticed a glitch in the system. It does not calculate tax correctly on multiple units of the same item. If i use the taxable miscellaneous key for a certain dollar amount, it calculates it one way. If I have 100 items that equal the same dollar amount, the tax is a completely different amount. I contacted them and told them the problem. They said that they do the tax on the line level and ...

We are a family run cafe in a very busy…

We are a family run cafe in a very busy contemporary art museum. We run two stations, use their credit card processing partner and have had great support with the company. The system is easy to use and we have had very few issues. When we do have an issue they are very responsive and helpful and the ensure our problem was handled with satisfaction.We would highly recommend Shopkeep.
