Record keeping simplified - Sharesight perspective

After using Sharesight for a few years, the most under rated features and the best from my perspective, are the integration with my share broker (Commsec) and the access granted to my accountant, simplifying record keeping. I will generally be notified a trade has been imported into Sharesight before notification arrives from Commsec. Great product, saves tax time.

Been with Sharesight for years. There's always room for improvement but overall love the product. I rely on the capital gain tax report in particular. It's a huge time saver and also helps avoid errors. Income reports also great with automatic importing of dividend payments.

Delete the spreadsheet, use Sharesight

I am probably a conservative user of Sharesight because I don't use many of the extensive investing tools the software provides, however I do enjoy having a concise and accurate record of our equity investments. Sharesight is linked to our Xero accounting package for our accountant and he is able to access the dividend records stored on Sharesight. Great site

Great site - helps to manage all reporting elements of investments and also segregates share trading from record keeping. You don't need to be tied to the same broker because all you history is with them. Sharesight continue to add new functionality to assist with investment management - would love to see news / annoucements added soon.

You would learn more from your customers if you had a call centre. Charge $2.00 a minute (give the call centre ‘expert’ the right to give 50% discount for ‘marketing’ reasons). Some customers learn more from verbal interaction. You will also get hints of ‘market need’ re future development.

A real timesaver

So glad I enrolled with Sharesight. It has made keeping up to date with my investments simple and easy. I like the way it shows me dividends etc without the need to look up the paperwork. I can quickly confirm the payments. The layout is easy to use and I can see everything at a glance. I use the app for quick updates. Have no hesitation recommending it.

Sharesight has been amazing

Sharesight has been amazing. All the tax information I need is displayed making it easier for my accountant to reconcile. I’m only a novice investor but the information I need is so easy to look up. Highly recommend it

Highly recommend from long time user

I have been using sharesight to track my Equity portfolio since 2012. I have found it to be a much more reliable indicator of total portfolio performance compared to broker reports, plus with the flexibility to run reports over various time periods (ie 6 months up to 5 years), and with the added benefits of automatically tracking all my dividends, and preparing highly accurate and time saving tax reports at year end. Great platform

Great platform. A friend introduced this to me a few years back and it has been awesome. I was on the free option for ages, but now have the Investor level as I have all my investments and my partners held in one place...so easy at tax time and for any quick reports.

Less work and better monitoring

Joining Sharesight has really lightened my administration tasks associated with my share investments and made it much easier for me to monitor portfolio performance over different time frames. The ability to get quick feedback on any issues via the chat function is also much appreciated.
