If you want to keep track of all your investments and the associated returns on one site, this is a fantastic tool. I started using the free version but quickly migrated to an upgraded version to manage our family trust as well. The app is great for getting a snapshot of your fund at any point in time. Highly recommended.

I've found Sharesight a great way to track the short and long term patterns of my investments. It not only automatically updates trades from my broker, it also allows me to interrogate performance of individual shares over any time period that I choose, compare performance between shares in terms of $ or %, and follow trends by comparison to any common benchmark.

Sharesight makes managing shares easy
Sharesight makes managing shares so much easier plus provides great reporting that is especially helpful at tax time. I just forward transaction confirmations to Sharesight and it pretty much does all the rest, tracking income and growth, providing capital gains reporting. And with the mobile app it is easy to monitor my portfolio.

Follow the recommendation
My sister recommended Sharesight a few years ago, but I resisted following her advice. How stupid was I!! I'm now using it on a daily basis and finding it a solid tool to evaluate and manage my portfolio. Saved me hours when it came to doing my tax return too. Highly recommended for the serious investor.

Good for my long only account, but now useless for my personal account where I have recently started using shorts. they are not accepted when importing.
