Great site

Great site - helps to manage all reporting elements of investments and also segregates share trading from record keeping. You don't need to be tied to the same broker because all you history is with them. Sharesight continue to add new functionality to assist with investment management - would love to see news / annoucements added soon.

I've found Sharesight a great way to track the short and long term patterns of my investments. It not only automatically updates trades from my broker, it also allows me to interrogate performance of individual shares over any time period that I choose, compare performance between shares in terms of $ or %, and follow trends by comparison to any common benchmark.

I am probably a conservative user of Sharesight because I don't use many of the extensive investing tools the software provides, however I do enjoy having a concise and accurate record of our equity investments. Sharesight is linked to our Xero accounting package for our accountant and he is able to access the dividend records stored on Sharesight. Great product, saves tax time.

Been with Sharesight for years. There's always room for improvement but overall love the product. I rely on the capital gain tax report in particular. It's a huge time saver and also helps avoid errors. Income reports also great with automatic importing of dividend payments.

Record keeping simplified - Sharesight perspective

After using Sharesight for a few years, the most under rated features and the best from my perspective, are the integration with my share broker (Commsec) and the access granted to my accountant, simplifying record keeping. I will generally be notified a trade has been imported into Sharesight before notification arrives from Commsec. Very useful website. Wouldn't be without it as use it regularly to see how my investments are tracking. The reporting is also most useful

My sister recommended Sharesight a few years ago, but I resisted following her advice. How stupid was I!! I'm now using it on a daily basis and finding it a solid tool to evaluate and manage my portfolio. Saved me hours when it came to doing my tax return too. Highly recommended for the serious investor.

Sharesight makes managing shares so much easier plus provides great reporting that is especially helpful at tax time. I just forward transaction confirmations to Sharesight and it pretty much does all the rest, tracking income and growth, providing capital gains reporting. You would learn more from your customers if you had a call centre. Charge $2.00 a minute (give the call centre ‘expert’ the right to give 50% discount for ‘marketing’ reasons). Some customers learn more from verbal interaction. You will also get hints of ‘market need’ re future development.
