Simple tool for tracking all holdings…

Simple tool for tracking all holdings and performance thereof. Has saved me so many unnecessary administrative hours

Extraordinarily tortuous process initially, with inadequate support. Great result eventually.

I wanted to set up portfolios with transactions dating back nearly 10 years. The first problem was that the link to ASB Securities, for transaction imports, assumes that the ASB customer has only one portfolio. Not so for me, so transaction import was not an option. A fix for this issue may possibly be in train. I kinda wish I had discovered it earlier....

I kinda wish I had discovered Sharesight earlier. When selling and re-buying shares it was difficult to see what my performance was and using a spreadsheet after a few weeks became unmanageable. With Sharesight it takes away all that pain. It has some good reporting too for me and also my accountant at tax time. Its easy to use, has a well presented interface and on the few times I've contacted Support have received quick replies.

Great Software One change I would like to see is showing the share cost as well as current value. Also if a graphing option that shows points in time where shares are brought at the cost. Sharesies in NZ does this well. Just a few suggestions...

A must have tool for every investor

A must have tool for every investor in the share markets. Good software but major issue loading contract notes

This would be a 5 star review but for one serious issue. I load contract notes to Sharesight emailed directly to them from my broker which is on the Sharesight approved list of brokers for this process. However, ever since I started using Sharesight, the purchase or sale value loaded can have up to a 4 cents discrepancy compared to the actual contract note. This would tend to affect people whose contract notes are for larger amounts and/or have contract notes with purchases or sales made at ...
