It works at a good price point.
I work in the health field and providers still refuse to move away from fax. Since I run a nearly paperless company, setting up a fax system seemed like a step in the wrong direction. Enter sfax from Scrypt. Scrypt helped me understand my product options and choose one that was right for my company, it is very affordable, meets our security standards for medical data, and has never let us down.

This rating scale is flawed (Bad/Poor/Average/Great/Excellent)
Rating scale is very flawed. Great is not a valid label between Average and Excellent. There is no difference between "Great" and "Excellent".The appropriate rating scale labels should be: "Very Poor/Poor/Average/Good/Very Good""Great" should be labeled "Good", and that would be my rating of Scrypt/Sfax. The results you are receiving from this flawed poll will likely skew more positively than they should, and the information will not be very valuable to you.

Number wouldn't port.
We couldn't port our existing fax number. We liked the software, but it wasn't worth the amount of work that would go into changing the fax number everywhere for a doctor's office, nor did we want to pay for two services so that we could forward our number.

Service works fine. Needs better salespeople and more tiers
I get emailed monthly from a different salesperson trying to sell us the next package up because we get overages on our current plan. The next tier up will cost us MORE than what paying the overages would. I explain this to a different salesperson on a monthly basis. It's really frustrating. The service itself is simple and straightforward. I've always been satisfied with the system.
