Spotsaas Editor’s POV
SendGrid's API remains functional for email campaigns, but recent reviews document specific operational issues. Users report account suspensions without clear explanation, support response times exceeding 48 hours, and IP blacklisting that degrades deliverability. The platform requires dedicated IPs (additional cost) to maintain sender reputation—a hidden expense ...Read more

SendGrid is second to none for eMarketing needs
What do you like best? We've been transitioning to SendGrid over the past several months, and it has been everything we hoped it would be and more. The ability to manage unsubscriptions from campaigns is more effective than our previous vendor, and the management of users who forward campaigns to others and how this won't affect the initial user is a very pleasant aspect of our increased usage of eMarketing. What do you dislike? Sending more than 100,000 emails has a steep price ...

One of the best and easiest
What do you like best? Their REST API feature is the most amazing and easy API I have used. It's very secure and probably the best API I can say. What do you dislike? I liked almost everything about Sendgrid, I would prefer easy plugin for linux mail installation. Recommendations to others considering the product You can use this service without any doubt. They also offering marketing email this days. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you ...

Solid smtp provider with programmatic access, very useful for internal communication
What do you like best? We use Sendgrid as smtp provider for our internal team communication emails. It is a horrible task to maintain your own mail server in today's scenario where mail providers easily mark large volume email senders as spam. We like it because 1. Subdomain groups - Subdomains can be configured as sub-users with their own administrator and limited access to that subdomain only. This is useful for us in maintaining distinction between different internal teams. 2. ...

Send email without fiddling with DKIM, SPF, etc
What do you like best? You can spend a few days setting up your own email server, reverse DNS, keep the server patched, customizing, deal with domain keys/sender protection framework... Or you can just sign up for SendGrid in 30 seconds and start sending emails right away. It's pretty cheap too, particularly for low-ish volumes (though our use case might not be typical, since we're just using it for general email service rather than for marketing purposes. I haven't had any issues with ...

Sam's SendGrid Revie
What do you like best? SendGrid's API makes working with a programmer and customization very easy. Also there is great customer support. What do you dislike? Sometimes the API is inflexible, difficult to work with inhouse programmer and SendGrid team at times. URL Parameters have been a PITA. Recommendations to others considering the product Make sure you use SendGrid support. Well worth it. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...

Sendgrid is always on top of everything.
What do you like best? It can send out large amount of the email within short amount of time and the support is very helpful. Our business has grow because our deliver rate has increased over time with sendgrid's tool. So, I will recommend to other company. What do you dislike? For the basic account, we don't really get much help with support. We switched to the PREMIER account and we have account manager. Our account manager's name is Lauren and she is very helpful. I am very pleasure ...

Marketing Operations Manager
What do you like best? Affordable for large databases. Easy to manage unsubscribes and other bounces. Testing is easy and flexible. I have had great success with my support team. She is easy to get ahold of and answers all my endless questions quickly. What do you dislike? New Marketing newsletter system is a bit pricey. We are already paying for Marketo and your new system would almost double our email marketing spend. The features look cool, but since our database is large, it would ...

Thoughtful and diligent team, intuitive product
What do you like best? Tim, our account manager! If you speak to another ESP, any question you have often results in a long, seemingly incomprehensible article thrown at you. SendGrid is consistently there to help-with thoughtful explanations, simple instructions, and smart recommendations. An example - SG has technically have no obligation to explain all the nuances of deliverability, or QA a big send alongside our team (etc. but they go out of their way to do so knowing how that ...
