What do you like best? Sendgrid was a great, low-cost email solution for scheduled and triggered emails. What do you dislike? It has since changed to run of the mill email automation platform. Recommendations to others considering the product This is another marketing automation software. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We needed a solution that would allow us to send large batches of email several times a month.

Reliable SMTP service provider

PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? We use SendGrid as SMTP provider for the emails of our external clients. Before we started using SendGrid, we faced problems such as blacklisting of our IP address, our emails being marked as spam, and delivery issues. We tried out many systems and SendGrid has emerged as the best of the lot. It is a mistake to maintain your own mail server because large volume email senders end up getting marked as spam senders. More complicated than other options

What do you like best? It has extra features that some others don't have, like the ability to see the reason why mail providers rejected the email. What do you dislike? It is hard to learn. If there is an issue, it won't tell you what you need to do to fix it. It's not very user friendly. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Helps to get traffic to the site but isn't as easy to use as other options.

Reliable and pro-actively seeking feedback

What do you like best? Sendgrid is very easy to setup, and always work. Backend tools allows easy access to all relevant reports. I have been pro-actively approached by them to critique their new functionality and they took my feedback seriously by having direct contact with the product team What do you dislike? What do you like best? The new Sendgrid “campaign” tool makes sending newsletter and batch email easy. The platform is user friendly and clean. I also love the "wysiwyg" HTML Editor! Horrible customer service and automated suspension of legitimate accounts without notice or reason.

PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? SendGrid integrates nicely with Azure and .NET and on the surface it seems like a great product. What aspects are problematic or could work better? Customer support and account handling/security is a nightmare. They suspend accounts without notice or reason and hurt business. What do you like best? Solid API and user interface, not too fancy, but it gets the job done What do you dislike? interface, could do better than this ........ What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Email venerability.

You would have to be crazy to consider using these cowboys in production.
