Simple and powerful

What do you like best? API functionality, ease of use, powerful insights into metrics. What do you dislike? That we don't use all the features available like campaigns, etc. At some point in the future, we may expand and use some of the options available to jazz up purely marketing emails. What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? A controlled source of sending rate sheets, etc as marketing emails.

Unimpressed

Unimpressed. I've only just started with SendGrid for my company's transactional emails and already they've placed me on a shared IP which AOL, Yahoo and Sky reject, so my emails aren't getting through to clients with these addresses! They say they can't move me to a more reputable shared IP because it would create the impression of 'Snowshoe Spamming'... well great. Thanks SendGrid. Reliable SMTP service provider

PROS & CONS What are the best aspects of this product? We use SendGrid as SMTP provider for the emails of our external clients. Before we started using SendGrid, we faced problems such as blacklisting of our IP address, our emails being marked as spam, and delivery issues. Good mass email delivery tool, and getting better.

What do you like best? SendGrid is developing more features that make them better. When we first signed up a couple years ago, we had to jimmy-rig a way to dynamically adjust the number of rows in an email (such a an invoice with multiple line items. We embedded a whole HTML table into a single substitution tag. It worked, but it's not what it was meant for. Great if you are worried about deliverability.

What do you like best? I've used Sendgrid for both marketing and transaction emails. It's less user friendly than other options but it's reliable and I trust their consistency with delivery. If anyone is having issues email delivery I always recommend Sendgrid for an easy solution to remove their headache. It's api means makes integration easy. Trustworthy partner in sending transactional emails

What do you like best? We work with SendGrid to send all of our transactional emails. Their system is robust and stable giving us a sense of security. Customer Success and Deliverability Consultant teams are excellent. They are caring, responsive, and helpful. What do you dislike?
