Fast, nice looking and just great all around CI/CD
What do you like best? I'm been using several different CI/CD in my career and got to admin I like SemaphoreCI best. The user interface is just pleasant to look at and I get around. I love how SemaphoreCI suggests things you can do to improve your CI/CD workflow - setting up concurrent test runners, tasks that run after jobs are executed etc. The free tier is enough to support a couple of my personal projects but I'll happily switch to a paid plan once I get over the limit of 100 free ...

That's a powerful and modern tool for CI/CD operations
What do you like best? They have no limitation and we only pay as much as we use. That's good for our business. Also they can provide Mac OS X and we can use it super-easy. These are critical points for us. What do you dislike? They should add more customization options and rich trigger mechanisms for workflows Recommendations to others considering the product: Firstly you can read documentation. Generally that's work and I like it. But if you don't find answer to your ...

Best CI product I’ve used to date
What do you like best? Really like the graphical representation of CI pipeline. What do you dislike? Can’t really think of anything on Semaphore that I’ve come across that I dislike. I did dislike how the online editor would re-format YAML and break lines across multiple lines, but after I raised this with support the behaviour was changed within a couple of hours. Can’t ask for more than that! What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? ...

Ultra fast CI with support for repositories in other organizations and a great team behind it
What do you like best? We chose Semaphore because it allows us to add GitHub repositories from other organizations, simply by being an admin for the repository. This way we can setup CI and CD for our clients, and they don't need to setup any new accounts, provide us with the correct permissions, and so on. It's not only faster than our previous builds at Travis, we also pay a fraction of the costs. The support answers very fast and if we ran into any technical problems, they were ...

The fastest on market
What do you like best? CPU performance are almost 2x the competitors' one, without queue time. What do you dislike? Platform other than Linux aren't free for open-source projects. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? I was looking for the CI/CD tools with the best perfs, Semaphore with their dedicated instances did it.

Awesome CI/CD service
What do you like best? It's easy to work with, providing a good overview of what's happening. Detailed billing insights make it easy to identify your costs. Docker support is what it makes shine compared to the version 1. Thanks to that, there's so much flexibility. It works for our most complicated setups, running only if necessary for the specific subtree. It's also possible to use VPN for deployments, which is not something you can always find in the competing services. And the ...

Simple yet powerful
What do you like best? Have worked with many CI systems over the years and keep coming back to Semaphore -- for simple Ruby deployments into Heroku all the way through to custom workflows involving coordination between AWS resources, S3 and various third parties if it can be scripted on a computer terminal you can trust it to run fast and consistent on Semaphore. We have always found that tests and deployments are highly consistent and downtime as only been observed in 1-2 cases in 6 ...

62% cheaper than previous provider and 100% better
What do you like best? We were able to eliminate waiting times at the end of each sprint (which were usually very challenging as we deploy a lot of changes on a last day) with automatic CI scaling. All previous solutions were operating on fixed computing resources and we ended up wasting development time while developers were waiting for their build to finish. With Semaphore this is no longer the case - tests are run immediately after code has been pushed. Another benefit was more ...

Must use!
What do you like best? Intuitive UI & UX. Like the way, it represents all errors & builds. What do you dislike? There's nothing exactly I dislike about Semaphore. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? CI & CD. Unit Test coverage

We've been using Semaphore for a long time
What do you like best? Responsive support Handles our needs well Good API Load balancing across threads Semaphore 2.0 What do you dislike? Outside our VPCs so that can make certain actions tricky On Semaphore 1.0, it was hard to debug problems (this is much better in 2.0) Conditional logic in semaphore.yml could be simplified What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Does most of our heavy lifting continuous integration ...
