Seesaw is an absolute disaster for parents

Seesaw is an absolute disaster and has been the bane of my kids remote learning. I can't emphasise how bad it is and how much stress it has caused us. I have literally no idea why anyone would want to use such an awful remote learning tool besides the fact that they really dislike their parents and kids. Some of the examples: - The codes randomly stop working so you can't log in to school classes - there is no way to save your code against a login so you only have to remember your username ...

"A useful tool to keep the classroom connected"

What do you like best about Seesaw? I like how you can quickly and easily communicate with parents about the work that the children are doing as well as communicating about important information directly. The parents are able to look at the work their children are doing and comment and like the work they have done. You can create assignments quickly and easily. Once you have created an assignment you can assign the assignment to any class you are linked to all at once. You also are able to ...

"Horrible! Confusing for children, time-stealing for parents - "screw UX" should be their slogan"

What do you like best about Seesaw? They have an app and also a web version. What do you dislike about Seesaw? While on quarantine the school of my children started actively using SeeSaw for remote education. Let me say this way: I manage of a company with 300 employees, yet I never felt so helpless, confused and frustrated as when I tried to manage education for three 8 year old children. Thank god they are triplets and two of them are in the same class, so at least some things could be ...

"Excellent to improve communication in the classroom. "

What do you like best about Seesaw? Parents want to celebrate their children's achievements at each stage, so it is important to keep them aware of their children's progress throughout the school year. With the Seesaw application, students can store and publish their best work to share with their parents. Teachers, on the other hand, can provide concrete examples of their students' strengths and areas to improve their parents during parent-teacher meetings. The improvements in the ...

"Easy to use and accessable to view your child's profile"

What do you like best about Seesaw? What I like about SeeSaw is that I get to review and comments on my child's school work, they use this application in school. For working parents it's a great tool to view what your child is doing in school and you can see their projects and videos. What do you dislike about Seesaw? I just started using this application and as of right not I don't have any dislikes. Recommendations to others considering Seesaw: I would recommend this application to those ...

"Great tool for teachers and students!"

What do you like best about Seesaw? The thing that I like best about SeeSaw is that there are so many activities already created that you can edit if you would like or push right out to your students, all created by other teachers! What do you dislike about Seesaw? I dislike that you cannot create a button to add to your activity that once clicked, will say directions. Recommendations to others considering Seesaw: Great tool for learning in any classroom, no matter what grade level or ...
