"Seesaw"

What do you like best about Seesaw? Collaboration features Templates Library of shared resources to duplicate and use Interactive Video and audio features Ability to link with Google What do you dislike about Seesaw? It's not a dislike but it does take time and training to learn the platform. You need to be prepared in advance. There are tutorials for users/parents (in my case) but we still had many technical questions Recommendations to others considering Seesaw: Utilize the ...

"Great platform for families doing remote learning"

What do you like best about Seesaw? This is a wonderful platform that allows an open communication with the teacher, student and parents. I love the platform because I can see in real-time what work my child is submitting. What do you dislike about Seesaw? There should be a feature for the student to check off that they completed or viewed the assignment rather than clicking add a response and having to actually add something in order to make the task go away. What problems is Seesaw ...

"Easy communication with parents"

What do you like best about Seesaw? It allows us to document student work (through photos and videos) and easily share them with families. Is useful to look back on documentation to asses growth. Generally easy to add photos and videos quickly What do you dislike about Seesaw? Can be challenging to add students and families - sometimes this is not intuitive. Drains the battery on my device quickly . What problems is Seesaw solving and how is that benefiting you? Connecting families and ...

Absolutely terrible

Absolutely terrible. Hate it - can't print easily, instructions for activities are often hidden in the responses. The worst user experience ever.

Absolutely terrible

Absolutely terrible. Awful interface, difficult to use, non-intuitive. The fact they've managed to sell this to so many schools just shows how out of touch schools are with the digital age. Even something that should be so simple like adding a text box is horrendous - you can't even resize the text. Drawing onto an activity is awful - I haven't been able to find any way to resize the drawing circle etc. The zooming is awful, trying to move things around your screen is almost impossible. It ...

Terrible system for teaching

Terrible system for teaching. I was at a loss when the teachers at our school suggested 'everyone is finding seesaw such a great platform' when we found it abysmal. It is therefore sadly ironic how good it is to read other reviews confirming our impressions. The system is fantastic for teaching kids how to click on a screen, use a mouse to create a text box, resize text, resize text boxes, hold steady whilst drawing lines, rub lines out etc etc. Paint is a better format than this. We are ...

Seesaw has been the cause of so much…

Seesaw has been the cause of so much stress for me. Bad enough trying to home school but trying to do that using seesaw is worse. What is with the text box and having to drag it and size it to where you want to put it? Not user friendly at all. Also had issues logging in aswell. Confusing having 2 sets of log in details for parent and child. Then if one parent lives separately they have to have their own log in details which I only figured out a few weeks ago. I don't like it at all.

Absolutely abysmal..

Absolutely abysmal.. I have never seen anything so appalling before. Our school insist on using it. Is it free for schools and is this why it is inflicted on us? DoE need to get involved and get schools off this junk..

Seesaw is the WORST app ive ever had to…

Seesaw is the WORST app ive ever had to use. Nightmare! 2 apps to start the confusion (family & class) why? Login details dont save for more than 1 child. If you manage to find the work set.. And work out how to choose to edit it.. Good luck with that, try zooming in and out!! I spent 5 weeks stressing over this app. How can you expect a 6 year old to do it?
