Scribd is untrustworthy! With no support.

This site advertised one price and then charged my PayPal account nearly $2 more. They never sent notification of my free trial period about to end. When I tried to login to end my subscription — I could not get in. Scribd support never replies to emails for support. When they billed my PayPal account, I was furious. I started a dispute with the charge at PayPal. PayPal denied my dispute after whatever Scribd told them. Scribd never answered any of many emails about this. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ...

The selection has some work

The selection has some work To be done and I also don’t like that you can only listen to three books by the same author then they are locked out saying “available soon” would give five stars if those two things were changed for the better

Love it, it's just like Netflix but for books. As a person who dedicate most of her time to read and talk about books on social media Scribd it's my best friend. ✨

This app has amazing value and I’ve rarely found that a book I want to read is not available. I love that I can make personalized reading lists so when a book is recommended to me I can save it to a category and come back to it later or just search one up using their search engine. An unlimited library at your fingertips for a good price, hard to beat scribd.

The selection of books could be more updated. Seems most books are old. Should be able to have newer titles for the price we pay. There could an easier way to find the newest books put on the site.

Scribd steal from customers

Me pause account. Scribd charge me still. Money go fast when think me paused. Me ask for money back. Scribd say me keep using. Me say no, me no authorize unpause. Scribd no believe customer. Scribd = thief. Scribd break 8th commandment. Me no recommend. Edit- they are so polite and offer to help once you make it public. But that’s after all my information was deleted. Go figure

SCRIBD is the best reading-listening to…

SCRIBD is the best reading-listening to audiobooks I have experienced. No waiting weeks before an audiobook becomes available like Libby, no costly fee to own an audiobook like Audible (which i still keep because it is nice to keep favorite books), downloading the book ahead of time is nice because I can listen to a book without staying on the internet all the time (a battery drainer for iPhones).
