It's the worst company.

It's the worst company. When I check if the payment is made after the free period without sending an email, they only repeat the rule that they will not give me a refund after 30 days. Usually, I think it is natural to send the receipt by email when payment is made. But they don't let me know the payment was made. They blame the consumer for not knowing that and don't refund it. my ticket number is 2845563

I tried the Scribd service and found out after the free trial that I wouldn’t be able to use it right now due to employment issues relating to COVID-19. No problem as my account showed suspended. I’ve been using Scribd for 5 years or more and have always loved it. I read a lot of the negative reviews here about customer service the past few days. 5 days ago my account was logged out and membership was not showing when I logged back in. I put in a ticket for customer service and Emily responded within 48hrs as was stated. Her reply’s were very prompt and helpful, and I was transferred over to their Trust and Safety dept. It took a few hours longer for that dept to get back to me then ...

No support, can not pay for service

My credit card expired and I had to update my payment information. I just get an error when I enter my new card, although it works just fine for other subscriptions (Spotify for example). I get no response from support. The service itself, although selection is somewhat limited, was enjoyable while I was still able to use it.

First and foremost: I think Scribd is a great idea, has great content, and it is a hidden Gem. Now, on to the "one star" justification. Straight to the point: it is impossible to pay for Scribd, and they have absolutely no customer support, even if you have been a loyal customer for years. Two or three times during this period, my credit card number changes - because the previous card expired.
