What do you like best? SAS BI combined with the underlying SAS compute engine makes the tool a jack of all trades. Using the stored process feature combined with information maps and the portal, I can build a web-site to do just about anything. What do you dislike? What do you like best? - Large library of in-built macros/ predefined functions - Ability to model a wide range of statistical scenarios - Easier modeling & programming than R What do you dislike? - Difficult to extract data from sources & manipulate into usable fields. Fast and great data processing and statistical analysis tool
What do you like best? Base SAS along with other packages cover almost the whole gamut of statistical analysis and techniques.SAS programming syntax can be considered as a high level language which is intuitive and easy to learn compared to other softwares like R.The extensive library of pre defined functions and user defined gives it an edge over other softwares. Fast and robust but you pay for it
What do you like best? Its efficient when you know how to code this well. Robust as can tackle loads of data. Comes with great online support. What do you dislike? 1- It comes with experience and take a lot research to find the way out of difficult problems. 2- To bring efficiency, one needs to be SAS skilled, knowing any other coding language (including SQL) will not work for you. 3- No support for distributed system/ chunk processing. 4- Finally, you pay for it. ...
