What do you like best? I like SAP Business Intelligence because I can use it without having a knowledge of a SQL query language. I can easy connect to my database and data tables and I can set up a easy query to export the needed data records. When I have saved my query, I can save this data to a report or a different file format which can be used to for other SQL tools. What do you dislike? What do you like best? As SAP BusinessObjects BI has improved over the years it has become much easier to use to build reports that are helpful to the business. What do you dislike? This may be a corporate admin setting, but the web application is inconsistent in when it automatically logs me out after a period of inactivity. What do you like best? I personally enjoyed how accessible this portal was. What do you dislike? I dislike how difficult it was to work with. It was not easy to learn and requires training not provided. Recommendations to others considering the product: I recommend they invest in training because it is a difficult app to learn. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? It helps with programming and shortcuts for quick customer service.

What do you like best? I like the overall look and ease of data pulling from business objects What do you dislike? I do not like the fact that creating variables and formatting the data set is so complex. Most of the times I download to excel format using Excel. What problems are you solving with the product? Robust Reporting Tool...if the underlying data models are designed properly using Kimball principles

What do you like best? Besides being scalable for small to middle sized organisations, it actually does the performance bit better than OBIEE even for large scale companies. BO also have a better data governance framework than other tools such as OBIEE and can be truly called a multi developer friendly tool with versatile integration connectors for all major OLTP systems, be it ERP Finance or HR Management Systems.
