"True headless cms with additional customization"
What do you like best about Sanity? Portable Text - that is what i really like, i can add a new button and link any entry i want groq - more power than graphql. Can use as simply as possible or build complex queries. Feels like you have complete control with the build-in API. Studio aka Admin panel - simple spa, so we can host studio with different datasets. One for QA, one for stage, one for prod and etc. slack community What do you dislike about Sanity? groq - more power - more ...

"Best cms all around"
What do you like best about Sanity? Sanity is super easy to set up and customize; and allows you to collaborate easily with people who don't need to understand the code part of development What do you dislike about Sanity? I guess a downside is that I won't get to try other content systems since I reach for sanity every time What problems is Sanity solving and how is that benefiting you? The Fast and easy set up as well as amazing documentation at super helpful for devs like me who ...

"It makes my life easy to create an API"
What do you like best about Sanity? The simplicity of creating the API. And don't have to worry about migrating data when I change my frontend later. What do you dislike about Sanity? Connecting one data to another and Relationship building needs to be simple. At-least for me as a beginner. What problems is Sanity solving and how is that benefiting you? I no longer worry about data base maintenance and architecture. I lost many data in the past due to the complexity.

"Very flexible and developer friendly CMS allowing easy editing experiences"
What do you like best about Sanity? The GROQ query language is both easy to use and flexible. Portable Text (Sanity's version of a rich text field) is lovely to work with, allowing easy editor experiences. The free tier is also substantial enough for most testing and evaluation. What do you dislike about Sanity? I would prefer not to need to use React to create custom input fields; however, this is a minor complaint. There are also occasional glitches and slowdowns in the Studio ...

"Sanity is flexible and easy to use but still very customizable."
What do you like best about Sanity? Easy setup and out-of-the-box hosting without configuration of database or anything. Also, synchronizing data between development and production is very nice. What do you dislike about Sanity? It would be beneficial if you could have secured documents (or, better also secret Fields) in a dataset to store secret information without exposing them publicly. Also, Backups are not easy to set up, the GitHub action plugin is full of bugs and does not work very ...

"A flexible and lightweight CMS"
What do you like best about Sanity? I like that it's very flexible in defining the structures for your content and that it can be hosted in Sanity Studio online without needing to spin up my own server. What do you dislike about Sanity? The user interface seems a little boxy to me. But I guess that can be changed with custom CSS. What problems is Sanity solving and how is that benefiting you? It's allowing me to add custom content to my products from my Shopify store.

"Excellent CMS for headless environments"
What do you like best about Sanity? The customization, flexibility and power of the product. I've used similar CMS and I didn't have the same amount of flexibility to customize the interface and fields like Sanity. What do you dislike about Sanity? The learning curve is steeper but it's easy to get started and build from there. Some of the out of the box demos I couldn't get to work initially so updating these would be helpful. What problems is Sanity solving and how is that benefiting ...

"Stunned by how easy it is to create a backend"
What do you like best about Sanity? The ease of use, especially the implementation process, was breathtakingly simple. Now, I can create a website that people can change, manipulate, and update without knowing how to write a single line of code. What do you dislike about Sanity? Writing queries to the sanity database is a little tedious. Luckily I was using Github Copilot which helped me immensely in writing the queries. It feels like SQL but it's not. A bit of a weird language. What ...
