Salesforce pros and cons

  • Highly customizable, allowing businesses to tailor processes and workflows to their specific needs.

  • Centralized database provides a 360-degree view of customer information for sales and marketing teams.

  • Reporting and analytics deliver detailed insights for data-driven decision-making and performance tracking.

  • Supports connections with a wide range of third-party apps and APIs.

"Advanced customer relation management tool"

What do you like best? It has automated for us various processes like lead generation and closing. It has helped us in managing our online stores as well; we can easily generate the receipts and pay our bills. Moreover we have learnt through this tool that effective sales plans could be used as in further enhancing the marketing plans. Salesforce not only helps in quotation management but also it has enabled us to engage our clients by providing us the option to personalize their ...

"Salesforce CRM Newbie"

What do you like best? Salesforce effectively manages all of our CRM data as a company. What do you dislike? I hate lightning vs. classic. There was nothing wrong with classic and now lightning is confusing. Recommendations to others considering the product: Take a training on it. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? We have over 60,000 customers and we need to be able to successfully store their data.

"Heavy-Duty CRM with All the Reporting You Need"

What do you like best? While a bit outdated and highly priced, it has all of the features and functionality that you might possibly need out of a CRM system. It integrates with almost every other system you might have, so that is great and easy. What do you dislike? It's unnecessarily complex and there are too many options that exist for day-to-day use. I've used other CRMs that integrate much more seamlessly with Gmail, where I can utilize the CRM directly within Gmail, which I love, but ...

"Fantastic but expensive"

What do you like best? The Openness and the fact that is a standard What do you dislike? High price and limits of the versions ... Recommendations to others considering the product: It's a complete tool to manage a sales cycle. It's somehow difficult to implement changes if your company does not follow the guidelines of the industry. The strong point is the fact that is a standard in CRM market so all the other tools implement APIs to connect with. What problems are you solving with the ...

"My Journey with Salesforce"

What do you like best? It's a platform object-oriented. I can separate leads, accounts, patients, into each component, and have a specific team perform specific tasks. At the same time, I can have specific users who have access to view the whole journey of each applicant/account and view it as a whole What do you dislike? The CRM sometimes is too rigid. There are minor changes I wish to make, and it forces me to exit the current view/layout and to do it in another layout. Mass update to ...

"It's still the best"

What do you like best? Salesforce makes it easy to manage my business and territory end to end. There really isn't a CRM that compares functionally vs the value it brings to an organisation. What do you dislike? Nothing - its fantastic. Easy to report, find data and understand accounts - implement it correctly and reap the rewards. The ove to lightning has made the product great to use. Recommendations to others considering the product: Make sure you really scope out the implementation - ...

"Easy to use Salesforce for CSM Review"

What do you like best? Easy to organize all of my customers and provide updates in an efficient manner. What do you dislike? I dislike that sometimes there is field limitations where you can't have a max number of characters. I also dislike that sometimes it can be a bit slow at times. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? The main problem is around customer on-boarding and adoption and being able to set up. Also, be able to easily search for ...

"Salesforce is the elite CRM for any salesperson"

What do you like best? Salesforce keeps my hundreds of contacts organized via accounts and hierarchies, and is compatible with a variety of plugins, like Outreach and LinkPoint. Additionally, you can create detailed reports to understand the metrics of your clients/accounts. All my emails can also be tracked through Salesforce for review later on (absolutely critical!) and creates essential transparency across our entire company. Salesforce is also not just useful for our sales teams since ...

"Our main platform for tracking communication!"

What do you like best? I like the lead status activity updates to track progress through the funnel, ability to take detailed notes and email through the platform as well! What do you dislike? Sometimes activity tracking is lost on a prospects profile Recommendations to others considering the product: Great tool to manage large pipelines along with detailed notes and tracking. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Ability to track all notes and ...

"The best CRM I have ever used"

What do you like best? I love all of the toggling, tracking and importing aspects of Salesforce. Everything I need from data, tracking, next steps, financials, clients and their contracts, etc are all in there. We recently also adding billing in there which has helped a ton with being able to work directly with the finance team. What do you dislike? I think sometimes it can be a little overwhelming with so many features. I'm sure there are so many ways I am underutilizing Salesforce, but ...
