"It's Good and I'm Surprised"

What do you like best? Salesforce does anything and integrates with everything. For that reason, it serves a good source of truth for other systems, including support, Jira, accounting, and others. What do you dislike? Salesforce doesn't support recurring revenue / SaaS based business models well. It's very much built for traditional one-time sales models. As well, there is so much functionality that it's often difficult to setup quickly and well. What problems are you solving with the ...

"Great for tracking client life cycles"

What do you like best? The ability to customize, so that you can track the life cycle of the customer from pre-sales to implementation. What do you dislike? They offer a document management service, and Salesforce is a CRM, and a repository, but it's not built for managing documents. Too much is left up to individuals to manage leaving documents outdated. Recommendations to others considering the product: It's amazing for client management. The flexibility of the customization is great. ...

"Salesforce.com Platform for everything"

What do you like best? SFDC is super flexible and so much more than just a CRM What do you dislike? Reporting has come a long way - but I still find myself having to download to Excel in order to do some tasks that I feel should be built in. Recommendations to others considering the product: Take the time upfront to document business processes and needs and put some business rules in place prior to implementation. Wherever possible customize with CLICKS not CODE. A declarative solution is ...

"Engineer's review"

What do you like best? Access to customer's contact information. What do you dislike? Sorting through attachments automatically created from an email. Sometimes cases don't appear in a search. There's a better flow to review an email in outlook as opposed to browsing through a case. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized? Tracking cases.

"I have been using this for last 4 yrs."

What do you like best? It allows customizations as needed. User friendly. Reporting and dashboard features. What do you dislike? One of the drawbacks is that SF Is not good with reporting and charts. Reporting is not of high standard. It only allows basic reporting. I have used other CRM softwares whose reporting level is of high standard than SF. I think SF should provide advanced reporting features. Recommendations to others considering the product: A lot of cusyomization is available. ...
